All night on saturday outside was a very noisy street party. Had a bad sleep. Sink drain had leak. Poor Internet connection. Poor breakfast.
Hotel staff is very friendly and extremely helpful for international travellers. In my case, they readily spend their time to check details of changed frlights, consulted on the city events and any addresses I needed, booked taxi and tickets to excursions and to shows, kept free my not-needed belongings for days during our travel out of the city. The room is modest but clean and have all facilities. Breakfast is normal - incl. cereal, cheese, ham and fruits. Location in the center, very convenient. Very good hotel for the money.
The price in booking.com is shown without vat tax of 21%. It is dissapointing to find you have to pay more then expected from booking. They should not be afraid to show the full price as anyway the hotel is very good for the money even with this 21%.
The staff was very cordial, but English challenged. It is an old building very well maintained. Breakfast bufet was good. The one issue was charging guests 5 pesos per 10 minutes for the use of their computer in the lobby. Hotels in the area offer this service free of charge. It was a nice stay.
Being charged for the use of the computer in the lobby.
excellent location, internet, near subte and 9 de julho, cleaning
the shower "escaped" from basis twice or three times
The hotel was ok, it is exactly what i expected for the price.
The breakfast is limited and get boring after a couple of days.
The mature woman working at the reception is extremely nice and helpful. I also really like Brenda the woman working at the bar on the evening. She is very nice, warm and friendly. She gave a special touch to our stay.
A wider selection of food for breakfast would be better.
Fax did not work Noisy after rain (dripping outside the room)
Very helpfull staff. price is o.k.
The hotel is centrally located but in a quiet side street. One lady was fearful because the street can be dark and unviting at night; I recommend to walk into Uruguay Street from Avenida de Mayo, then it is only one cuadra and around the corner. Rooms have been refurbished and bedlinen, towels, and sanitary equipment are very clean. I like the family atmosphere.
During my stay in the hotel construction work was going on outside, with thrilling and hammering from 8.30 in the morning; nobody informed guests. Rooms, especially bathrooms, are not isolated, always close the bathroom door. Reception personnel is correct but could court guests more. Breakfast lacks any variety and is basic, though not bad.
this is a very good hotel in downtown of buenos aires,it is very clean, employees are very nice and helpfull.and is located close to subte station
The hotel localization is good, near most places of interest in center (av. mayo, av. 9 julio, congress, etc...) The hotel has very competitive price.
the breakfast has few options, the tv image is bad and small. The hotel is simple and economical but not bad, if you want a place to sleep and stay, and considering you spend most of the time outside, its fair.
With a stay at Hotel Napoleon, you'll be centrally located in Buenos Aires, steps from Barolo Palace and 14 minutes by foot from Obelisco. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
