Friendly, accommodating, and easy-going
They were very polite and helpful getting us checked into the hotel. When I asked for ice chips for an ice bag (for a couple of knee injuries), they powered their ice-maker on and loaned us a couple gel packs while it came up to speed. Their breakfast offerings were diverse: bread with meat and cheese, nutella, or butter and jam, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, and two automatic espresso machines or juice and milk to drink. When we were running late returning to the hotel, we called and they said it was no problem, just to ring at the door and the night clerk would let us in. It was that easy. Every time I talked to the night clerk (on midnight ice-pack refill runs), he was very enthusiastic and friendly. In fact, all of their staff were very kind and helpful (like when the A/C unit got stuck on heat--it was fixed very quickly and remotely from the front desk).
It was noisy at night from the other guests, and the bathroom may have needed some attention to get rid of a vinegar-like odor of mold or mildew. Airing it out helped, but it was noticeable.
my room too small and no internet
The location was very central, close to the tube and Montmartre
The sheets were dirty, and so were the blankets. A live caterpillare was crawling in between the bedsheets..The shower in the bathroom was not working properly.
It's quite good hoyel for its cheep enough price. Locatiton is near the metro station. Good hotel for thise who arrived in Paris to spend all the day in this fantastic city and need hotel only for sleeping.
Very poor breakfast and not enough seats in breakfast room.
Convenient location near centre of Paris and Metro station. Balcony overlooking street. Breakfast included. Staff were helpful and friendly.
We booked and paid for room for five and were initially given a room for four. There weren't enough towels in the room. The shower head would not stay in position while showering. Beds were squeezed into room with very little free floor space. Minimal cupboard and storage space. No tea making facilities in room. The corridor outside our room was very noisy. Little variety at breakfast. Breakfast was served in a tiny little room which got very crowded at busy times. Wireless internet was unreliable as their computer hardware is not made for the job. Location is near a red light district with lots of "alternative entertainment".
-Location is near Moulin Rouge but (see negative) -it's Paris, hotels are going to be expensive and cramped.. so if you're okay with that, this is a good hotel. -very near underground -room had a balcony, very nice if wanting to relax in room. -street was quiet at night
-Location is near Red Light district / porn store central -room was cramped for 4 adults and 2 kids, but sleep was no problem. -parking.. none, loading/unloading.. very difficult. parking will cost you no less than 28 euros per day in a garage... take the train to Paris. you'll enjoy your stay much more.
nothing
towel in the bath room on mini bar
The staff was quite nice, and was very helpful. Also, the area was perfect for going out at night.
The bedroom blankets were covered in hair from past guests- not the cleanest thing i've ever seen.
The location was good and close to many bars/restaurants and in easy reach of the metro.
We didn't like the fact that with one of the rooms that we had, if we left curtains/the window open, we looked directly into other people's rooms and vice versa so not particularly private. Also having booked breakfast our first morning, there was not enough room to sit all of the people that required breakfast and the selection was poor for 7 euros per person
Proximity to trains, Moulin Rouge, nightlife.
the mattress was saggy. The room had some unfinished repair work, but probably a timing issue I would hope. Ran out of croissants with an hour to go of breakfast.
Good location, situated between Montmartre and the river and main art galleries. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable or easy to reach by metro - Pigalle Metro about 7 minutes slow walk from the hotel, with direct connection to the Gare du Nord, and thence train direct to Charles de Gaulle airport. Staff were polite and helpful.
Hotel fairly basic, no frills, breakfast not included (though we preferred to eat breakfast out anyway, which is easy in Paris!), but clean and with all essentials.
Very close to Metro station. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Quiet street.
Double bed a bit small. Breakfast room too small for the number of guests.
