Convenient but noisy location
The hotel was clean and the staff were courteous. The location is really convenient.
This hotel is in the middle of the burlesque district. Furnishings are dated and it is impossible to sleep at night due to the amount of outside club noise. The bed was uncomfortable - 2 twin mattresses pushed together kept coming apart.
Love love love!
Incredible front desk staff! Great service!
Ornate rooms. Nice. 3-4 star. Staff at reception was very nice and accomadating. Small hotel. Elevator and stairs. Very very cozy. Private hot tub in one room is addictive. breakfast Is nice. Taxi stand right across street. Metro right there!!!! The breakfast staff so awesome. Cute breakfast room in basement. Overall great! It's very safe because it's locked hotel at all times. Camera entry. Secured entry.
Terrible wifi in some rooms. Paid 50$ of data because couldn't connect wifi. Awful coverage in some rooms. Neighborhood is sketchy but I literally walked everywhere and did fine. Even to the louvre. It's close to everything just be careful outside the hotel at night.
Left after the first night
Staff was pleasant, professional and accommodating. We left after the first night because we had so many problems, and they said they would refund our other two nights. Hopefully they will follow through.
Got locked in the bathroom because the door handle came off. Same thing happened with the front door of the room. Rooms were very, very small and the linens, drapes, etc. seemed very old. The shower had no shower curtain, so water went everywhere in the bathroom when you showered. This was made worse by only two towels being provided, both of which were too small to even wrap around your body.
front door is closed all the time, even during the day - for that same reason, you can hardly recognize it as the place where you need to be, if there is no one to open the door - a clear sign with name of hotel should be placed above the door, as both me and the taxi driver could not recognize it as the hotel/place to be and arriving and finding the door closed with no one to open it for a few minutes, is scary when you see your taxi dissapear in the night
The rooms - not numbered but named after famous French people - are like fin-de-siecle brothel rooms. You can imagine Toulouse Lautrec, Oscar Wilde and Dalida in there. Or Ewan and Nicole....
The price is a bit hefty....
Excellent old fashioned decoration. Names for each room
Poor breakfast, little space in rooms.
The decoration, the bathroom, friendly staff
Location near a discotheque, very noisy
The hotel is in a quite convenient location very very close to Metro station. The hotel's internal decorations are quite unique.
The hotel needs to be more professionally managed. We had only two glasses for two guests (both for drinking and for tooth brushing). There is no service for adaptor borrowing and luggage concierge, which should be in place for a 4-star hotel. Electrics and power sockets in room could be better maintained as a lamp doesn't work and the power socket by bedside leaked electricity. In addition, the room was quite small and the hotel doesn't have a channel for feedback/complaints to management.
great deco, buzzy, interesting area, great views
The whimsical approach by the hotel to give each room a name such as that of a celebrity or entertainer.
The location. The hotel was located in the middle of Paris' red-light district. There were numerous sex shops within a few steps of the hotel door. This location is absolutely unsuitable for children.
the furnishings and decour
noise from the outside, rooms are fully sound proof
location --- proximity to Metro
Room a little crowded, but probably typical of European standard
Location Location Location. We stayed in the Louis Vuitton room and the view of the street and fountain was beautiful but more incredibly was the view of the Sacre Coeur Basillica. WoW! Access to the Metro could not have been easier it was just across the street. A Sushi Bar just up the street from the hotel toward the Moulin Rouge was delicious. Very satisfied with our stay in Paris. C'est Magnifique!
Simple basic breakfast was incredibly expensive for what was offered. Did not eat at the hotel once but instead went downstairs to Omnibus Brasserie for the best and very inexpensive HUGE breakfast! The croissants were melt in your mouth wonderful.
