Central location near to metro. Good walking distance of many sites. Very quiet and because of its proximity to Government buildings, it felt safe and secure.
Absolutely nothing. This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in any major city in the world at any rate.
Dirty, tiny rooms, old tv that did not work, soiled unsanitary carpeting, very small bathroon, archaic facilities, noisy (could hear everything going on in the rooms above and beside) horrible outdated facilities. Dangerous remote location, not accessible to taxi's and public transportation. If this is 3 start I play for the NBA.
I liked the arondissement 7th but the hotel is too far away from the metro stations. There is no much nearby (restos, bars, etc.). The hotel itself is ok for the price you pay
The hotel is far from the metro stations
The room was large by Paris standards as was the bathroom. staff were extremely helpful
Lacked a bar fridge and as with most European hotels no tea/coffee making facilities supplied.
The original quad (called junior suit) was small with no room to move between the beds. The manager changed it and the second one thought small was quite nice and pleasant. Has a lift.
The location: The area, though very nice and safe area, was dead on Sunday and the holiday. Not close enough to Metro. We spent too much time to and from hotel and metro. Overall, considering the dead location and the hotel itself, we thought it was too expensive for what it offered.
very friendly staff
one of our rooms was a twin and was a bit cramped with a double door arrangement (firedoor i think)
this is good value when looking for a quad room in Paris
The desk staff were lovely--helpful, able to communicate with us in basic English, friendly. The location was great--within 6-8 blocks of the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and the Rodin Museum, and easy walking distance to the Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon, etc. It also felt quite safe, with high neighborhood police presence because of the proximity of many foreign embassies.
The cleaning staff were hit or miss in the number of towels and glasses they left for us; even though we were paying for three guests, we sometimes had to ask for a third towel or drinking glass.
Competent and willing staff, very clean, quiet area
Room service extorionate, not enough local eateries
The hotel was great. We had four people in one room and it was very comfortable.
A stay at Hotel de Suede Saint Germain places you in the heart of Paris, within a 10-minute walk of Les Invalides and Le Bon Marche. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
