Great location, very close to Sacre Cour and Moulin Rouge but close enough to walk to all attractions. Great little street with shops and restaurants close by
Wallpaper hanging off in the room but not really an issue. Everything was absolutly great
The location is perfect, near to the center of Paris. Metro station is just 10 min away. The district is very nice, there is small market where you can buy foi gras, cheese and sausage much cheaper then in the city. Place is full of small cosy restaurants and shops. Staff is very friendly. The reseptionist spent hours with us helping to organise our leisure time. I definitely recommend this hotel for those who don't care about luxury.
I'd recomend to have hair dryer in every room
Very polite staff, unusual for Paris! Very good deal on taxi to airport - personal service. Room plain but clean and very quiet. Quite a good bathroom.
the position was good - close to the metro and shops, cafes and restaurants. the staff were friendly enough. room and decor old and tired and basic but everything worked, bed comfortable enough and i didn't expect anything more for the money paid in paris. towels changed regularly, cleaned every day though i am not sure why it was a superior double room, perhaps i wouldn't like to stay in standard if ours was a superior!! the only thing i can think to make it superior was we were on the first floor and without a lift this was a bonus. on the whole i was relieved when we got to this place that it was really quite ok as i had heard horror stories about paris hotels.
the walls are very thin - you can hear neighbours talking, next door snoring and someone upstairs arguing!! solved this by using earplugs and really wasn't that bad. our window opened to a courtyard which was occasionally used by smokers which meant we had to shut the window at times.
Nice hotel in a convenient location near the Rome Place de la Clichy Metro stations. Staff was very helpful in providing advice. Fluent in English. I did not take the breakfast as there were abundant bakeries nearby. I stayed in September and found opening the window refreshing and the temperature fine; however, summer months could be a problem as there is no AC.
very run down, needs a major facelife. you can do better for the money
The room was really spacious and the shower was excellent. The room was clean. I was able to leave my bag at the hotel after I had checked out, which was really useful.
The hotel entrance and corridors look quite shabby and not that clean. This is a shame, because the room was good and clean.
Breakfast and breakfast room were very good clean and bright. The proximity to the Metro (Rome) was very convenient. Linen and towels fresh and clean.
The hotel was very shabby and in need of redecoration! It was also very noisy in the room (traffic noise)
The location was great.
The room was ridiculously hot with no air conditioning. The room smelled bad. The bathroom was fairly dirty. The breakfast did not start early enough.
The hotel staff were fantastically helpful and very personable.
A stay at Hotel des Batignolles places you in the heart of Paris, within a 10-minute drive of La Machine du Moulin Rouge and Palais Garnier. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
