Great value for price
Location is great, also price was reasonable. Hotel stuff was friendly and room was clean
Cramped and uncomfortable
The only positive feature of this hotel is its location. The subway station is literally around the corner (Villiers / line 2).
Supposedly the room I reserved for my cousin and I was a double-twin. Two, tiny twin beds were joined together and we still could not open the closet and bathroom doors. It felt very cramped. They never replaced the wet used towels, and instead of leaving two fresh bath towels, we only got one. A tiny single portion (sample sizes) of a shower gel and a shampoo were supplied, never replenished. Even though I paid my reservation in full online, when checking out we were charged a city tax, for two nights £4.80.
This hotel is very convenient for walking into the centre of Paris (about 15 minutes and close to the Paris Mtero System (3-4 minutes).
Parking on the street is impossible and secure indoor parking although very lose is expensive at about 23 euros per day.The hotel is clean but 'tired' with carpets and bed covers that have seen better days. For through price though and where it is located, it remains good value
Rooms a bit small for a family and basic facilities
location, price
a student party under the hotel window until 2 am and hotel staff not being able stop them from having music too loud
location
bed's cover and pillows
the staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was convenient to the Metro and for shopping
My room overlooked a courtyard. People would gather in that area for conversation, which made sleeping difficult. The hotel room was very dimly lit and made reading difficult. The TV did not offer a good selection. I would not use this hotel in the future.
the staff was very nice and friendly. We got there on Friday and on Saturday morning the electricity went out is was kind of scary on the first day there but when we went to the lobby they told us they were working on it but with the strike they did not know when the electrician was going to get there. They gave us coffee and croasant, we went back to sleep and the problem was fixed within 2 hours
the carpet in the room was dirty and they did not dust the desk yet the bathroom was clean (thank God!)
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks.
Hotel rooms were too small. Beds were made of sofas. Not comfortable indeed. The room and the bathroom was so small you could not move in the room. You can only sleep and that is not in a very comfortable sofa-bed something.
5 min walk to Villiers metro station line2
Rooms were a bit small, (I dont know other hotels in Paris)
nothing.
poor service, unable to propose one day laundry service.
our room at the hotel was very small for a couple & an infant; they moved us to an apartment in another hotel of the same chain. the apt was spacious. the hotel staff were very helpful
Located in Paris (17th Arrondissement), Pavillon Villiers Etoile is within a 15-minute walk of Parc Monceau and Place de Clichy.
