Green Hotel Amid Lush Landscaping
Although there was confusion locating our reservation when we arrived the staff were very helpful providing accommodations. The restaurant staff should be thanked for their help and English speaking ability. Ecotel Quinta Regia is a cluster of two story building with very large room including either deck or balcony faced by very mature plants and shrubs. A most pleasant environment for relaxation. There is a tennis court and pool for guests. A good choice for a stay in Valladolid.
Breakfast began at 7:00 AM. Our group of three arrived just before 8:00 AM. A tour group was finishing their buffet breakfast--in the hotels very pleasant restaurant-. There was limited food remaining in the buffet spread and it was not replenish. Eggs were prepared for us according to our preference and coffee was refilled but we were unsuccessful learning if the buffet was set out for the tour group alone and is not a component of the "Breakfast Included" description.
The room was large, comfortable and was decorated in colonial style. Very good breakfast, reasonably priced.
The only downsides - about 15-20 walk from the center of town (although taxi ride was only $1), inconsistent wi-fi.
Beautiful property, but a bit far from town
Nicely decorated and fairly large room. Very comfy bed. Grounds are well maintained and lovely.
A bit far to walk to the main square. It's a big hotel, and some rooms seem to have better views than others. Our view was pretty boring.
