Situated in Old City, the hotel features two mansions of Ottoman era first built in 19th century, then restored and converted into a hotel. It is rather an art hotel or a living museum. The art gallery which happily serves as a concert hall has a floor that is made of glass in some parts just above the ruins from Hellenic period. The walls exhibit Turkish contemporary paintings and other pieces of art including a very skilfully crafted replica of Rodin's “The Thinker” from The Met. The art/dining gallery creates the correct atmosphere to start a journey to get acquainted with past civilizations of Antalya. Kauçuk Hotel offers air-conditioned spacious rooms with unique designs having more paintings on the walls together with some of the finest examples of antique Anatolian carpets. Every detail has been carefully attended to for comfort and authenticity in the rooms. They all have a marble bathroom with showers, TV, minibar, slippers and bathrobes.
