Cleanliness and communication.
Dinner was excellent at the very nice restaurant downstairs
The only things that were good were the daily complimentary breakfasts and the gal that served them M-F, the early check-in we were given and the front desk clerk Doreen.
Everything else. Room was on the same floor as the admin offices, the exercise room and the food storage; keys on second day not working; big gap under entrance door allowing noise, light and horrible grease trap smells from the pub located below; noisy and unruly occupants; smoking area outside right below room window; room heaters not working; tv remote not working; stained sheets on first day; bathroom mold in the shower curtain nook; 1 day of no hot water; no extra toilet paper; inconsistencies with housekeeping cleaning efforts and supplies; had to beg for extra towels; dangerously high tub edge and washing machines not extracting washed requiring multiple extra runs at $2 each run.
Comfortable room and bed with view.
I booked the room early for $136.90 including taxes. My credit card was charged $151.90. I called Inlet Tower Hotel and Suites. I was told they charged $15.00 for incidental charges and it would come off my card in 35 business days. That was not mentioned any where in my booking ☹️
The inlet Tower gets a bad rap. But, it is good for shopping trips and overnight. I enjoy the restaurant and the free parking.
No breakfast in the offseason, and the hotel probably could use a renovation
Safe atmosphere, but needs cleaning/ updating
The staff were great. Restaurant and coffee place were nice. Very good location close to downtown, but still Quiet. Trendy grocery store across the street.
Very old. My room needed a good deep cleaning. The lamp shade, window shade, bed skirt, arm chair and phone were filthy and stained. There were very limited outlets for my electronics. Caulking on tub was black and falling off.
The cheapest safe downtown place
Free parking and price
Place is outdated and rooms are small.
Ride from and to the airport
Staff, guests, rooms, beds, phone wasn't working, heard about bed bugs, i was charged with a 20 dollar fee for getting there an hour earlier, I would've gotten a better hotel for that price. I don't reccomend this hotel.
Renamed IT "Inlet Towers" to "Into the Twilight Zone"
Nothing. Outlets did not work. 1970 TV. No internet. Fan did not work. Only two dim lights and smelled like stale McDonalds. I did like checking out after an hour.
The service was awful, rude and disrespectful. To top it off, the guy we dealt with was the manager/owner. Room was worse than a motel 6 in the getto.
Older Alaskan Hotel
The room had heat and air conditioning. It was clean
The bed was the lumpiest thing I've ever slept on.
It was ok for the price I paid
I booked my room on hotel.com so I paid $57 a night. Stayed in room 1504. For whatever reason I was upgraded to their top floor with a kitchenette, two queen sized beds, and a view of the mountains and water. (I booked a regular 1 queen bed room). The restaurant was really good but very pricey! The restaurant staff is so nice and super great. Food and drinks were tasty! I had the shuttle pick me up from the airport at 3:30am- takes about 20-30 mins for them to get there. They said the reason for the wait is that they were warming the van up (it was warm). The guy driving the van was extremely nice he even offered to make a breakfast run for me! If you're driving parking is easy and right out front of the building. Very close to downtown - if it weren't freezing we could have walked about 3-5 blocks to get to downtown! I would probably stay here again just because I like to travel cheap and this is the cheapest 3 star hotel in Anchorage. I am staying here again in April, will right another review!
It wasn't the cleanest....the fridge had visible dirt in it. There were random brown splatters on the walls and ceiling. Hair in the bathroom (every where). Toilet and towels were about the only thing that was really clean in the bathroom. I will note the bedding was clean and smelled fresh! There is wonderful looking wallpaper on the walls and in the far corner (next to the bed I did not use) the entire corner of the wall is loose and you can lift it away from the studs in the wall. Every day I was there my key would not work (4 nights). It's kind of a pain to go from the 15th floor to get a new key. They blamed it on us because cell phones deactivate them however my boyfriend had it in his wallet the entire time. I had tried calling the night before my stay ended to see what time the shuttle left in the morning and no one would answer the front desk phone from 10pm-11pm. You can hear everything through the walls. Everything your neighbors do can be heard. Luckily we only had "neighbors" 2 of our 4 nights.
