The hotel manager Lorenzo was very friendly and entertaining.
Non-smoking, but so is every other hotel in Italy. So no problems!
The location was good and the staff were initially friendly.
We did not appreciate the proprietor banging on our door a full 15 minutes before check out to tell us that we had 15 minutes to check out. We already knew this. In addition, the extra baggage 'deposit' which actually turned out to be a fee of 10 euros was a joke.
The Hotel Henry is not located on a canal in Venic but right around the corner. For the money and area it is located it is a great deal. Rooms where nice and clean but a little smaller, bathrooms very nice and clean with shower in my room. Room was cleaned everyday and if you needed anything more at anytime they were there to assist. Great air conditioning in rooms....not all hotels are the same when it comes to that of their classification of air conditioning in historical places. There is no breakfast but you walk out the door and within a minute or two there are all kinds of shopping. From bakeries, all kinds of food places.....sit down, take out and grocery store. Great smaller hotel and I would difinetely stay there again!
Nothing I didn't like, it would be nice to have a complimentary breakfast there but then again price is very reasonable for Venice. Plus again there are places literally around the corner a minute or so from the Hotel.
The reception guy is kind and funny, and his service is good.
No wireless network in room and the passward is too long to use. Seldom people can success in connecting to internet. The room cleaner is a little rude to customer and they will knock your door before 10:00 and ask you to check out.
Located in very quiet area. short distance to bus stop and casino. very friendly staff. it's just 2 stars but in my opinion it should be 3 just no restaurant in the hotel, however it's nice restaurant just opposite the hotel. I would recommend it to all of my friends!
Very clean hotel.
The bathroom smelled bad, like sewer. Also, there was hairs on the towels and bed sheets.
Comfortable but casual. Liked having glass of cheap red supermarket wine on tables outside of Hotel in little residential square. Away from hustle and bustle of Venice.
Very quiet street - Cleanliness of the room (recently remodeled)
No breakfast service available
