The location and the views from the dining room. Dinner and breakfast were excellent
Lack of comfort in the room. one uncomfortable chair, one of had to sit on the bed,
Walking along the shore and on the prom. Watching the boats on the River Yare. Eating the excellent hotel food.
The staff where really good and friendly towards you The food was brilliant and the view from the bedroom window was lovely
This hotel needs a lift as carrying bags wasnt easy
The breakfast was fantastic. The staff are excellent. Brilliant location.
The noise from the bar. The rooms are a tad old fashioned.
This was our 2nd visit to the hotel this year, the improvements made to the ground floor are fabulous. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the room was perfect. We will definately be back.
There is nothing to dislike about the hotel but apart from the ground floor which has been refurbished the rest of the hotel in looking a little tired. Hopefully refurbishment will continue throughout the hotel, which will make a perfect place to stay.
Staff were pleasant and the hotel overlooked the seafront
There wasnt an iron or board in the room, when asked for one the member of staff forgot, also there was not a hair dryer in the room and this was stated on the web page. the room was very cramped and dated not as airy as the photos portrade. The shower over the bath was not high enough for my husband as he is 6ft, we were expecting a walk in shower as shown in the potos on the web page
Staff were excellent, very polite, very helpful, cheerful and friendly Food was excellent and served in good time with no long wait between courses.
Was unaware of work being carried out feel that we should have been told on booking even though we booked on line. In the rooms there was a sign saying that a free glass of wine would be given to all hotel guests eating in the restaurant while the work was being carried out we did not see this sign until we were leaving therefore didn't get it as we didn't ask for it Room 12 had a 2 problems but staff were helpful and apologetic
The hotel was in a state of refurbishment.
The young lady on reception was a star - and went over and above even to the point of moving her car so that we could park in the car park, as we had valuables left in the car overnight . service during breakfast was superb and the food was good too. We ate in the hotel bar on Saturday night and once again, food was good - and at a reasonable price too
Bar meals were good value and quality.Beds comfortable with crisp white bedding and soft towels.Staff friendly. The room had great views of the harbour.
Bearing in mind that there only appeared to be one other resident I felt that an upgrade would have been a nice gesture especially as the en- suite shower room door wouldn't close. Breakfast was disappointing.Plastic sausage and poor buffet. No marmalade-had to be requested.poor selection of cereals and only cheap orange juice available- again no choice.
