The location was walking distance to the village.
Honestly, the place should be shut down. The outside as well as the inside is SO RUNDOWN. We were so tired, so we stayed, as it wouldn’t have been safe to drive home but this “inn” has no business being in operation.
You can hear the traffic outside and when the heater would turn on, because it was cold outside, it sounded like a gun shot . so didn't sleep well because of the noise
Get what you pay for
It was next to the bowling barn .
The place need a make over. But you get what you pay for
Dilapidated facility that should be shut down
The indoor "pool" area was a permanent construction/storage site - machine tools, paint cans, and windows blocked with paper that had been there long enough to start peeling in places. This is supposed to be out of sight, but it is a GIANT eyesore. The outdoor pool, on the ohter hand, had a full sized adult tree growing out of the hot tub, and 95% of the pool was filled in with soil that had just accumulated, by the looks of it. The hallways were NOT heated in the thick of winter. This was the crappiest hotel Ive ever stayed in.
They need to understand where they are located
Price and allowed me to check in early before a storm rolled in.
Driveway was not plowed when there was over 6 inches of snow on the ground. Reception just asked me how I got stuck, I drive a normal size sedan. They did not call their plow company to come until another guest got his minivan stuck in the entrance to the driveway.
true rating for this property should be Zero Stars
1. The place is completely run down 2. The place is filthy dirty 3. No air conditioner 4. Ceeling fan broken 5. Noisy floor fan 6. Filthy bathroom 7. Trash bins and trash strewn about at the entrance 8. The hallway Smelled like urine 9. There was no evidence that the management puts any effort into maintaining the property
The location was good
The rooms were absolutely mess - no amenities, no staff close by. The hotel seriously needs a mekover - the floors are creaky, rooms are run down, if you have a noisy upstair tenant you entire night is screwed apart from the filthy, torn bed in which you are sleeping unwillingly.
It was in the middle of the city, near the lake. Made travel easy.
We encountered a ton of ants all over the room and in the beds. They moved us to another room and there were a ton of ants in there too. The walls were thin so we received midnight entertainment from the couple next door. There was a random bandaid on the wall that the cleaners neglected. The curtain rod was broken, so we couldn't completely close the curtain. The pool was filled with dirt. Did I mention the ants? Otherwise, it was great.
Really run down
Really old, outdated, run down, poor bedding, 4 channels on the TV, dirt coming up through the shower drain, flat pillows
A little better than camping
The room was clean and the staff was accessible.
There were a few significant things that made our stay uncomfortable enough for us to never come back! The bathroom light did not work. The bathroom sink filled up with a funky substance when the people next to us ran their sink. By the morning it had over flowed.
No air conditioner in any of the rooms. Not good i
Day Front desk person was nice. Maintenance guy at night was also nice. Night time front desk person was rude. Liked: refrigerator, microwave and kitchen wares provided.
No AC in any of the rooms. Not good in the summer time. We're instructed to leave the windows open and it should cool later. There's no screen in the bedroom window, so left that one closed, but left the others open during the day while out. Came back at night and the room was hot. Maintenance searched vacant rooms and finally found a window screen; later found a fan. Evening Staff was a bit rude when asked for a fan. Said he already put a fan in my room yesterday. Problem was I didn't stay there the previous day. Disappointed with this place since it's a Wyndham property. I expected just a bit more.
didn't last long
We left early didn't stay longer than a few hours
