It was fine
Great price, close to the freeway. Fine for a night.
Cleanliness could be improved both within the rooms and in the hallways. Guests near us were rowdy all night long drinking/partying. Maybe not a great place for families.
I enjoyed the layout of the room and thought it was definitely a good place to stay when you're on a budget
Clean room, easy access, 20% off breakfast at IHOP. Daytime desk person worked hard to bring us a hair dryer.
No return phone call from night desk clerk, no hair dryer in room, we asked for our room not to be cleaned/disturbed for the 2nd night stay, but it was done anyway. Only a few channels on the TV; most of them didn't come in too clearly. Only one ice machine.
Good nights stay
Close to interstate, local restaurants, and airport.
Still hard to accept a budget motel for $120 per night.
Ever since they remodeled the hotel is great inside. The outside looks as if they're working on it right now too. Appears like that'll be up to par soon as well.
I don't know how this hotel has any return business. Their management, or should I say manager, is extremely difficult to deal with. It's a younger woman, I believe her name is Amy, comes off very nice at first but if you spend longer lengths of time at the hotel she tries her hardest to get rid of you. What makes it the worst is that she does so in conniving ways to make herself come out looking like the good person in the end. I would make this my destination every time I'm in Grand Rapids if they do something about this issue. Until then I'll continue to take my business elsewhere.
Was upgraded to a nice king room after a mix up, I had been given a room which was already occupied. My husband and I enjoyed the bigger room.
Very small bathroom. Dog was unsettled most of the evening because of the noise from the outside walkway.
It was close to the highway and to places to eat. Plus it had free WiFi.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable, the ceiling was peeling, shower drain didn't work, not enough towels for two people for the weekend and didn't offer breakfast.
RRI was very clean, the beds were soft and pleasant, and they were dog friendly so Ella the Wonderdog felt welcome too.
We stayed over 4th of July, and there were a lot of hooligans who weren't respecting the "No Fireworks after Midnight" thought. It would've been nice if the staff could've taken action on this.
