The location of the hotel was great as it was close to the Historic center. Easy walking distance and included parking.
The hotel was on a lean which meant that the room sloped and it was hard to stay on the side of the bed you started in. Cleaning staff were very noisy in the morning, but that may have been because we were next to their work room. If staying here ask for a room away from the street and away for the cleaners areas.
The staff is extremely helpful despite only Spanish-speaking. Internet is avaliable free of charge. Good location - very short distance from metro station and easy to find.
Very cold in the room, especially at night. The blanket is insufficient.
The room was big and clean, king size bed, clean shower and bathroom. Very good value for money.
Location is not in the center but still close enough for a walk / metro. Hotel's restaurant is not really good...
We really liked this place: it is well located, rooms are big and clean, staff is friendly (although I am not sure is they speak other languages than Spanish?) and the most important- it is a great value for money. For the same hotel in Athens we had paid twice of what we have paid here. We gonna stay there again for our last night in Mexico.
Great hotel, especially for the price! Our budget was tight so we were grateful to find a clean, quiet hotel with Internet, hot shower & comfortable bed.
Staff is professional & helpful.
The rooms really look the same as on the pictures, so no "bad surprise". They were very clean and modern.
It is not very close to the metro station or to walk in the city, but still ok and doable. Fair value for the price.
Price, Price, Price... It´s clean and, if you don´t want to stay "in a hotel" and just need a place do sleep, is perfect!
Don´t have good restaurants in the "neighbourhood"... Some people may find the street desert...
The comfort of the room. Quietness.
Very clean, nice sized room w/comfortable big bed, prompt room service, new bathroom and great shower w/plenty of hot water and wireless internet to boot, all for a very good price. Best Western was across the street and has good organized tours. I went on two, meet nice people and they were very convenient, just across the street, cheaper and closer than the one to Teotihuacan organized by Turibus, which, by the way, was great for a first encounter with the city.
Would have liked more choice on menu. The hotel called an unmarked (for security) taxi for me to the airport. This service was great except that the driver quoted me 130 pesos, but then changed his story- supposedly because I was going to terminal two the price was 150 pesos. He didn't have any change, nor did I, so I wound up paying 200 pesos for the same trip with the official taxi that cost me 127 pesos from the airport. Still, I'd recommend using this service, but make sure you have the right change.
You'll be centrally located in Mexico City with a stay at Hotel San Diego, within a 15-minute walk of Alameda Central and Paseo de la Reforma. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A shuttle from the hotel to the airport is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
