great place to explore Melbourne
Great location within a walking distance from the aquarium, Eureka tower, river promenade, Docklands, Federation square, grocery stores, restaurants, and a tram stop. The apartment was clean, had a nice design and was furnished with everything one needs. Staff was friendly. We have enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay here again.
Not what I expected after visiting the Adina Sydne
The staff was lovely. Very helpful, able to call me a cab quickly. Answered all of my questions promptly.
It isn't a great experience for tired, international travelers. I was disappointed that there was only one power converter for lease and it was taken. The room felt dark, cramped and outdated, and the nearby train track was extremely noisy. The surrounding area was very run down with few decent dining options, and I was surprised at how different the city was walking only a few blocks toward the convention center.
Extemely well priced, very good location, friendly staff and well set up and good facilities in rooms Spa gym and pool very clean
Nothing to not like
The room was amazing, everything that opened and shut! It was a holiday away from home with everyday convinence eg washer/ dryer.
Being the first time in Melbourne the lack of resources and recomendations on tourist sites and exploration of the city.
The european lady at the desk did not have very good people skills, and when i tried to tell her that we had stayed there before and that last time we had the same room, but this time we had old tube TV's instead of the flat screen's we had last time, she argued with me. Was not impressed at all.
The space of the 1 bedroom apartment was great. It was bright, airy & comfortable. It was also close to amenities & transport. I could not fault it.
Close to where our function was being held. Did not use any facilities.
Looking at the map of the floor we stayed in, our room was tiny. Not much room on the bathroom vanity to put things when getting ready. I was a little disappointed.
The facilities exceeded our expectations. The location was great.
There was only one small thing, which happens elsewhere also. The volume of the different channels on the TV varied substantially. This meant if you changed channels the volume would sometimes be extremely high, which was annoying, especially with a sleeping baby.
The location was excellent, the room was a good size and very quiet and the kitchen facilities were very handy.
Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Room was clean, comfortable & quiet.
There was a constant bad smell in the bathroom from the waste from the bathroom next door. On one occasion, our bathroom was under waste ewater from the next door bathroom.
Our stay at the Medina was wonderful. Our bedroom apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. The view was great and it was such a great location being so close to Southern Cross station, the shops, the Casino, and the St.Kilda road entertainment venues. I especially liked the stereo where I could connect my ipod and listen to my own music, made it more relaxing for my husband and I. It was also nice to relax in the spa and enjoy the views.
Some of the beer in the fridge was out of date. Although the staff were very nice and didn't charge us for the beer that was out of date.
The minute we stepped foot into the hotel, we said "wow". It is clean, and very well presented. The room was fantastic and the service was great.
