In and out quick but great nights sleep and gorgeous hotel
Stayed there many times, great location to town, staff very attentive, rooms always first class, breakfast a real treat!
Multiple search sites give different prices than their own. I'm not looking for a lottery.
All was fine, liked the feeling of comfort and ease of booking in and the space in reception area.
The distance from car park to hotel, the distanvce from reception to the bed room considering my age.
Hotel was fully booked but they seemed short staffed, service in restaurant was not great. Rooms were nice and spa treatments were very good
The hotel aptmosphere was most relaxing. The staff were friendly even though the hotel was busy, yet still managed to respect our privacy.
Service in the main bar was slow (perhaps understaffed for the high volume of guests?)
The beautiful surroundings
We had a huge wet spot on our carpet as we entered the room-they offered to move us but it was a long walk to move and my sister had already taken a shower. It took over 30 minutes to get the luggage.
Hotel location was very nice, food in the hotel was excellent, hotel staff were very friendly and professional.
Pool and steam room were very small. Beds in the room could have been a larger size. Very busy on the weekend I stayed in hotel and there was a long que for a table at breakfast.
this hotel is very overpriced
this hotrel is very overpriced
The peace and tranquility of the hotel and surroundings plus the friendliness and efficiency of the staff all made our stay a very pleasurable one
peaceful, quiet setting
The attention to detail of the staff and the hotel itself was beautifully designed. the hotel romms were beautiful. Liked been shown around the hotel first and my car being valleyed to and from the carpark. clearly great thought went into this hotel.
the food in the le perla retaurant was not mind blowing for the price. the soup was tasteless, my rissotto had bits of shell in it i kept on biting. the evening restaurant staff lacked personality. over all the restaurant lacked sparkle and expected a little bit more for the price paid having worked in the gourmet trade myself. would still go back to the hotel though, would however eat in kilkenny.
comfort, spaciousness, tranquility, food, landscape and walking paths, porters information on locality and his advice to visit woodstock and Nicolas Mosse pottery
I found the fellow offering to park the car a little too much
