The hotel is near to the bus station as well as the old port. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was bright and clean and had a flat panel lcd tv.
The hotel was excellent in all respects. Clean, Friendly, Cheap. Good Breakfast. Location is fantastic. Between new town and old venetian quarters; 5 minutes from the bus station and the fabulous market. It is a family run hotel and our hosts were really helpful. They suggested a tour for us to hike through the Samaria Gorge. It was as cheap as doing it ourselves and much more satisfactory. The rooms are not huge but are lovely, bathrooms fine and air conditioning excellent! Another great help is that there is a huge sign on the top of the hotel, visible from the big town market. It helped me find my way twice. Another big advantage is its price - so cheap for the quality.
It was a very good stay. Friendly staff, big and clean rooms, and very close to the city center. It is worth the money by far.
new and nice. in the center.
Amazing value for money. I am a frequent traveler, and I am not exaggerating in saying that it is such a rarity to enjoy a hotel stay that much! The hotel is brand new, clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely fantastic, beyond the usual Greek hospitality. There was 24 hour reception service, and the hotel is conveniently located in the center of Chania. Overall, at this price, I am sure there is no better place to stay in that area, and I look forward to visiting again.
Parking is an issue, but this is a general problem in the entire city. There is no wireless connection, but I am sure the staff will work on that pretty soon.
With a stay at Archontiki in Chania (Chania Town), you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Nea Chora Beach and Golden Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
