Staff were unhelpful and misleading
I was held up for three hours in Customs at Heathrow and advised staff that I would not make the first night of a four night stay. They were not helpful in assisting me in finding another Hilton. I specifically was told by the clerk on check out that I would not be charged for the missed night, but discovered that indeed I have been charged and I am writing sepaerately for a refund. Staff in the bar treated me like a vagrant beaucse my room was not ready and I only had casual clothes. It was only when I put my expensive suit on that I received decent service.
Staff were friendly and professional. Location was excellent. Extremely comfortable with excellent breakfast.

Ideal location in the center, excellent breakfast, hotel has been fully updated, Internet access is now included/free, the staff was very friendly. I have stayed a handful of times over the past 3-4 years and feel it has been improving. Definitely my first choice when traveling to Cambridge
The helpfulness of the staff at Reception was very high. I have an accident with my glasses and needed selotape and a pair of scissors. This was produced very quickly. Directions to a local restaurant was also quickly provided together with a large scale map.
Quality of the breakfast can be better.

The staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly. The room was very large and comfortable and the breakfast was yummy! It is the best possible location for a theatre break as Cambridge Arts and the Corn Exchange are both a very short walk away.

Carpets require cleaning in the room. General decor needs refreshing, looks tired and slightly grubby.

The lighting in the room was poor - one light inbetween the beds was totally inadequate if you wanted to read in bed - room too dark - an additional standard lamp would have been better. The website indicated that the hotel was near to the Aracde Car Park, giving the impression it was easy to park - in fact it was not. When we arrived the car park was full and we had to spend an age trying to find parking facilities and then walk with our luggage to the hotel. The price also for parking was ridiculous - our main objective during our stay was to drive away from Cambridge each day to stay out of the city as long as we could knowning that when we did return the cost of parking would be far too high. Not something we had bargained for.

â£15 to park a car is a little naughty. Staff 'waiting' at breakfast could be shown how to smile at customers, which creates a welcome atmosphere, and costs the hotel nothing (I may be being a little 'picky' on this!)
