Friendly staff. The hotel was basic but clean, similar to a guest House and the breakfast was cooked fresh and was excellent.
A bit pricey for basic accomodation.

I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, I believe the hotel is excellent for week-end breaks.
Could be noisy with next doors toilet light on, but was recified extremely quickly by the staff.

We stayed here for the location - close to Everton Ground (approx 15 - 20 minutes walk). The staff were all extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they offered help whenever they could, advising us on the buses and places of interest to visit. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend.
Although the staff of the Hotel were excellent, the staff at the attached Pub weren't at all friendly and the atmosphere was quite off putting/intimidating. We only stayed for one drink and moved on to find another with a friendlier atmosphere.
