The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
The rooms needed a bit of updating and the bath needed fixing
the position was good and the beach was near. The reception were helpful.
I thought for a four star there should have been tea/coffee facilities or an iron. The iron wasn't available to use
The differnet Views from anywhere in te Hotel The Lunges were wonderfull & "Spiffy".
Receptiosn did not knwo the guests. Also, I did not like th fact I was asked to pay for all my stay at check in- Indicating a No Trust in the guests!
The garden and the pool area are very nice, good access to the beach, excellent view on the bay.
The toilet was smelling very bad, poor breakfast and waiters service in the Orange restaurant. Furiously overpriced, food and drinks at the pool, very poor menu at the pool area. The staff has difficulties with English.
The beach bar and good service staff, decent size pool for swimming, good outdoor ambience
1. Poor service by reception staff, who were not very helpful. We lost our bags and the reception provided very little support eg. they could not supply basic toiletries like a toothbrush and expected us to go out to get it. Hotel rigid with regards to meals, ie only 1 expensive set menu each night. Should offer a la carte. 3. Hosted noisy event up till 11pm
The staff were very friendly, the room was great and the pool was very clean and large. Great location, we found some nice restaurants within 15 mins walking distance - the Clipper which has pizzas for 10 Euros or alternatively fish etc for around 20 Euros (reservations needed) and its neighbouring sandwich bar which is good for a beer and music. Also the Haiva (or something) pizzeria which is even closer. The Orange restaurant within the hotel is a must - its very reasonably priced, we paid 170 Euros for 3 courses plus wine. Also book the boat trip with the hotel. We went out on Valentina II with Enrico and it was a brilliant day. There is also Nikki beach bar which is a bit souless but good music. Better off going to the 4 poster opium beds in the grounds of the hotel.
It is touted as a business hotel however there was no Wi-Fi. We paid 5 Euros for 15 mins of the hotel internet and it was so slow that we only managed to get onto one website. We complained but they were not interested. Also this is a 4 star hotel and although the sunbeds on the beach are free to hotel guests we had to pay 10 Euros for an umbrella. It is disappointing that they could not also give us an umbrella. There was a definite feeling that they would make money out of you if they possibly could.
The surroundings are nice
service, prices, hidden extras everywhere, i.e. 6 euro to change your towel for a clean one, 5 euro for an ice cream at the bar, 5 euro for a coke at the bar
The towels were changed twice a day and the bedding was changed daily. The room was always very tidy and clean. The superior rooms had a great view of the sea.
The hotel is funky but cool. I would recomend going during the high season, august, because otherwise the hotel lacks atmosphere. It was quiet in May but pleasant. The hotel restaurant is good, but expensive. The hotel staff were all very friendly, but did not speak english very well. Location is great, but a car is needed to see the real Sardinia.
Some lights were out in our room when we arrived, but they were fixed promptly.
