Room on fourth floor with no lift and at times narrow stairs which is no good for the older person carrying luggage. Decor poor, damp patches on wall in hotel, breakfast very poor choice for continental. Carpets on stairs dangerous as they are torn and loose - possible trip hazzard.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Value for money
I was happily surprised with the room. Having stayed at similarly priced hotels in the area before, I expected something a lot more shabby, but the room was nice, clean and comfortable. And big too.
Breakfast was rather disappointing: slices of toast, jam and some boiled eggs.
Hotel was clean and staff were nice.
Not much room. Breakfast consisted of toast and eggs. Difficult to maneuver luggage because there are no lifts.
Nothing i am afraid.
We booked a double room and were given a twin. We were supplied with 1 bath towel each only. The shower soaked the bathroom floor and we had to use a towel to stop it flooding. The WIFI was advertised as free. It didnt work at all we were on top floor and had no signal.
The hotel is ideally located. It's not a luxury hotel, it's clearly a budget hotel, but for this price, what would you expect! The staff was always friendly and had a smile on their face! In fact we had a problem with the heating of the room wich was solved on the moment we complained. Overall with was a good experience.
The breakfast is limited in terms of choise, but if you're staying for just a couple a days it's not really important.
The reception staff (Sanchos ) was very helpful, basement room was good, clean, and modern if they refurbish the other rooms like this the hotel will be excellent.Breakfast was good and plenty to of it.
There was a mattress in the hallway on the way to the dining room which should not have been there and some areas needed a lick of paint and new carpet.
Clean and very nice hotel
Convenience, location, price
Very convenient for Paddington station, yet far enough away not to be affected by noise of trains or traffic. Lovely to be able to walk to Hyde park, Oxford St etc. Staff were very pleasant.
Continental breakfast .. Hmmm maybe that description or the menu could be reviewed, however for the price we paid for the Hotel, one has to take everything into consideration, so no point making a fuss, after all it was food and it was edible. The people/family in the room above were clearly bonkers, and although the staff did ask them to try to keep the manic children under control, the request fell on deaf ears, and asb orders are difficult to acquire pointless pursuing it for a mere 2 night stay.
With a stay at Linden House Hotel in London (London City Centre), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Hyde Park and 5 minutes by foot from Kensington Gardens.
