rather tired and poor working facilities rather cramped and needing updating
It was cheap when I needed to book somewhere for colleagues last minute
This is how it was described to me by one colleague "The room I've been given at the hotel is quite frankly the worst room I've ever had. Apart from the smell, the stains on floor, ceiling, bath, toilet, the 3 single beds with 2 thin pillows between them (the voucher said double room), there's no hairdryer or soap of any sort, there is only a broken wardrobe with neither rail nor coathangers, there is a note stuck to the doors saying breakfast will be in the lift or stairs....the room is in the basement and has a grill over the window, so feels like a cell. If it wasn't so late and so far, I'd go home" No matter how cheap it is and how desperate I am, I will not be booking it again
Poor maintenance, a number of items in the room were either not working or broken. Breakfast was not inspiring.
Situated close to the underground station- easy to reach the city center
Low quality, not clean, sleazy, more expected:-(
was located just minutes from stamford bridge and was clean and comfortable
the residents bar closed a little early if you fancied staying in
Staff were not very helpful, couldn't speak very good english. Fire drill happened in middle of the night staff not sure what they were doing. Room in disrepair. No bible in room, towels dirty, bedding dirty, cracked tiles in bathroom need I go on?
my friend and i were attending the ideal home exihibition on two consecutive days, the hotel was just a stone throw away, and after a tiring day was pleasently surprised that we didnt have to go far.
hotel was clean but could defineatly do with a refurb
The room booked a double more like a large single disappointed!
Closeness to venue we attended
Staff were unenthusiastic, no effort was made to make us feel welcome, and full hotel details were not provided. Waiting staff were all foreign and unable to understand our requests. Full english breakfast was poor, and no alternative was provided unless you wanted a mountain of toast and only orange juice.
Room comfortable; staff helpful.
Bathroom a bit spartan - no plug; tiny wash basin; no shelf above washbasin. Also no remote for tv. Only one quota of milk left daily - not much good if more than one cup of coffee is required.
The breakfast was good staff where polite and friendly
Alarm clock was broken unable to use tv worked but unable to get picture on it
