Incredibly outdated and in need of a makeover
Staff were very nice! What that the facility lacked, in terms of appearance, the front desk staff were incredibly nice.
The owner needs to seriously invest in changing out the furniture and giving the hotel a clean look. Just down the street at the Henley house, for $10 more at night, you get a new hotel. The breakfast, if you can call it that, definitely needs an upgrade!
Friendly staff. Excellent location 2mins from Earls Ct tube. I got exactly the type of room which I requested. 24 hour lobby. Didn't get ripped off.
The hotel is budget and shows in some places. Do not go thinking the nightclub will be open. But I expected this when I booked.
Location near tube
handy for uderground
Dingy- linen bags in corridors - no drinks service- outside area dirty and like a builders yard - no tea/coffee facilities in room - television located near ceiling - much in need of renovation - had to pay on arrival
Could have breakfast to 10 a.m.
Personal is helpful and attentive. But there are very few of them. The fridge works but is empty, you have to put drinks on it by yourself. Sheets and towels impeccably clean. There is free wireless internet now, but with very weak signal in the upper rooms. Shower works fine, abundant hot water bath, there was a bathtub in my room.
The hotel seems to be passing a serious financial crisis. The looking from outside is scaring, the front desk seriously discourages the newcomer. Common areas are not very clean, and even in the room some less evident corners accumulate dust. Furniture is old and bad looking. The lift has not been cleaned for a while. The garden cannot be used since is cluttered with old stuff.
Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate Good resturants within walking distance.
Heating could not be lowered, room was roasting and radiator had to be switched off. No tea making facilities in room, staff in lounge were either not there or unhelpful. Had to boil our own kettle on one occasion for tea at night on another were told to use water in flask that had been there for three hours. We eventually got the girl to boil a kettle. Breakfast staff were much better. Advertised as having a resturant but did not.
Near the train station
No heating system. I paid to sleep in the cold.
Lift not working for first 2 days, tv not working when arrived, credit card machine not working at check in
Despite the "Night club" in the hotel I did neither hear any noise nor see any of the girls in the hotel. They had warm water.
It's a pretty old place which should be renovated. Don't think too long about the carpet. The breakfast is horrible; still there are people how really eat what is supposed to be ham.
Close to the tube station. Clean sheets and towels.
Cramped, badly laid out, a collection of items rather than a coordinated hotel room. Seen better days. Needs a refurbishment. Capets need a good clean. No kettle yet 24hr room service! Amazing
