缺點： Hertz charged me currency conversion fees without asking first

Hertz charging obscene amounts for miniscule damag
優點： Car was fine until we returned it.
缺點： Small mark on black alloy wheel - excess damage charge of > CHF 500. A so-called leader in car rental should be embarrassed to charge ludicrous amounts, which rip off car excess insurance policies (thank heavens we took one out from carhireexcess). The ability to forensically inspect cars at the time of collection, in poorly lit garages with cars parked in close proximity is challenging at best. In addition cars with black alloy wheels are even more challenging to inspect in poorly lit conditions. Of course the Hertz employees carry a torch - a learning for us all...
Damage report was fundamentally incorrect. It stated rear wheel damage, when it was a front wheel.
Will never hire with hertz again.

Disastrous experience
缺點： I had deliberately called at the time of booking to confirm that the booking was for the SWISS side at Geneva airport. That was confirmed at the time while booking it was at the French side. I was forced to pay an extra of 400 Euros on the spot due to this.

缺點： Long queue at pickup with only one poor chap dealing with us all. Surely if Europcar know there are 20+ people arriving off a flight at 9pm with pre-booked cars they can get some assistance to their desk?
