The breakfast (because of Covid) was a granola bar, prepackaged muffin, water and an apple.
While the rooms are nicely updated, they did a grave disservice to everyone by putting in the flooring they chose. The acoustic noise is horrible. We will never stay here again unless we can stay on the 3rd (top floor). We were awoken at 4:45 am one day by the stomping people above us. I could literally count their steps from one side of the room to the bathroom. It was horrible! We complained and they didn’t put anyone above us for 1 night. Then the last night we were kept awake by stomping until 11pm and then awoken the next morning by stomping. The pool is decent. Pool chairs are ripping and the cushions in the cute couches look disgusting. I would not sit on those. The tables by the pool were not kept clean. Ice machine and vending machine did not work on the 2nd floor.
Six of us stayed at Best Western Plus at Lake Powell for one night, we all enjoyed for its cleanness, friendly staff, good breakfast.
breakfast and lobby
Best Western Plus was very clean and the staffs was very friendly.
It is a bit pricey for being a Best Western Plus.
Friendly staff, great continental breakfast
Great breakfast line up!
Loved the continental breakfast layout... they had sausage links, pancakes, cereal, eggs, salsa, bread for toast, coffee, etc... The hostess did acknowledge that their wifi was intermittent and suggested to use the front lobby for better internet access if needed. The beds were very comfy.
Warning: Our room door wouldn't close shut all the way unless someone made sure it did. When we got to our room the door was cracked opened a bit. Didn't need the key to get in, but once in, we made sure the door closed all the way.
poor wifi booking system down woken up by neighbor from 1:00 till 3:00 am.
worst best western experience ever
this best western is the worst during our travel. the front desk lady is so rude and impatient! when I said there is no TV controller in the room, she just said there is no extra one and would do.nothing. even worse, when I said we.want to visit antelope canyon, she said thatthey have nothing to comment and let me to check online myself! worst experience.ever among all the best westerns!
Good location to lake Powell
Staff were not customer service focused at all. Slow check in and breakfast processes.
Good place to overnight with plenty to do in the a
We were on the top floor. Nice and quiet. Convenient to Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Horse Bend, and the North Rim. The newly remodeled room was quite a bit nicer than my son's room on the second floor (not yet remodeled?). I'd stay here again.
The room had been sprayed with something like FreeBreeze to the point of being overwhelming. We had to open the window for a few hours to get the smell out. After that, the newly remodeled room was very nice. The beds were a bit hard, though. Breakfast was OK, but better than most. The TV aspect ratio was stretched and with the "renter's remote control", there was no way to change it.
Book the other beswestern
Generally clean but the capsule coffee machine in my room was not very clean. Close to antelop canyon and horseshoe bend. Breakfast is ok.
Wifi connection is terrible. Very slow. Bring a book. Get a higher level room otherwise you will hear lots of noise from upstair.
Loved the breakfast and location! The rooms were nice as well.
The wifi is really slow
Unfortunately the reservation made on booking.com couldn't be found, but this was handled well by the reception. The pool and spa were closed without any notice (!!), which was a bit of a disappointment..... The room was clean and exactly what one would expect. Location is ideal for visiting Antelope Canyon!!
My room was not ready when I checked in and was still being cleaned. Although the room was very clean and comfortable it was irritating to wait in the hallway while they finished cleaning my room.
Earlier check in time and microwaves in the rooms. (Or at very least in the lobby)
Nice room, good breakfast and coffemaker in the room
only rooms available with 2 queensize beds no Kingsize
We were exhausted from our boating and it was great to have a place to sleep. The reservation was easy to do by computer.
We were in a basement room and the noise above us was almost intolerable. The next morning we tried making coffee in our room, but the coffee maker was very frustrating and we couldn't make it. So, we went up to the breakfast area which wasn't scheduled to open until 6:30 (we were up at 6:15) and saw that other guests were beginning to get some coffee and breakfast items. A very rude woman (hospitality/maid?) walked in turned out the lights while about ten guests were in the kitchen! It was bizzare to say the least. Then another woman walked over and was very upset and starting demanding room numbers from all the guests. Everyone was shocked by this behavior and I felt a bit embarrassed by it all. I would have paid more for a better experie
The location is great. Got a good rate.
Had to wait for a room to be available an hour and half after I could check-in. Room not cleaned well.
Not much to honest
Breakfast was terrible pool was pathetic only one lift staff were not friendly
It is great place, The breakfast is Buffe - and it is excellent as per us standards. Very helpfull staff. The room is big, nice bath, fridge and all you need is there. Perfect spot to go and see Antelope Canyoun (you better book your tour in hotel, we have gone to Antelope by ourselves, and the service given by Indian guides there was poor! If reserved in Hotel the price is the same, but you will get better/fatser and more reliable servicein Antelope trips).
Nothing to complain!
Room was clean and comfortable. Close to Lake Powell.
The hot breakfast bar was ridiculously busy. Hot waffles are good, but the line is usually very long. We went out rather than deal with the chaos.
Pool hours should be longer and open earlier.
