Convenient location. Most of the staff were very friendly. Casino dealers were great. Very interactive with guest.
There were roaches in the room. Hair dryer didn’t work. Waited 30 mins for house keeping to bring new one never did. Missed the concert I was there to attend. The area around coffee pot nasty did look like it had been cleaned in a while. After complaining they moved me to another room. The coffee area was just the same as other room but at least no roaches in this one. Never ever will I stay there again. I will go to gamble but will stay somewhere else.
Love being able to have the jacuzzi in the room was very helpful with my bad back. The bed was nice comfy. I do love coming to this hotel on due to the jacuzzi in the room and it is very secluded off that I don't have to worry about anything going on and very quiet at night. Feel safe when I am there.
The phone did not work in the room when called downstairs to ask for assistance once we have received a new room the front desk did not seem to know any information in regards to if there with meeting rooms and the facility. Could not get any assistance with that information so had to do our business elsewhere. when housekeeping with coming and checking rooms was not knocking on The Room walk in on us two to three different times. Housekeepers were extremely loud in the hallway was not able to sleep due to us working nights and slept during the day. Requested a refrigerator once we checked in was stated by the front desk clerk we would receive one never received one had to come down the next day and talk to another front desk clerk she was able to get us a refrigerator immediately stated that nothing was ever notated on our account. The restaurants we're not open for lunch so always had to go out to find food. Wish the the restaurants would be open a little bit more instead of just on the weekends.
Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Grear value for price.
Morning of check out went downstairs for breakfast when we returned to our rooms for our bags we were locked out before check out time. Made working our floor would not let us into room, we had to go back to first floor to get key recoded. On leaving our room finally with our bags another lady was locked out and she was speaking to maid that was smirking at the time. Then there was the towel situation. Really only 2 towels when you have a whirlpool tub and a shower. Also maid told my husband he would need to call downstairs to arrange to additional towels. Never have we been so inconvenienced at any other hotel we have stayed at. As nice as the room was I would think twice about staying here again.
Everything was good

It was a bad experience. Smelled of smoke , furniture in rooms have not been replaced in 20 years. Mattress was old and bedding outdated. The whole experience was not good at all. The casino was smokey and small. Carpet in Casino was sticky and dirty. Buffet was awful and casino lobby smelled of fish and smoke. Diamond Jack needs to spend a lot of money on remodeling. I would rate this hotel and casino a very poor score. I have stayed in many hotels and by far this has to be the worst. It is rated a 3 on the internet that is a big mistake. Rating is a 1. NEED A REFUND..Over priced .
We stay there every time we are in town. Like that the rooms are big and there is Jacuzzi in the rooms.
Don't like the people that you call to talk to on the phone for reservations and the ones when you check in. They are really rude to the customers. They have lots of attitude. Have to overlook it most of the time.
Sleepless at Diamond Jack
I won my money back what I paid to travel
The bed was a nightmare, the bath tub fell apart, the room did have a funny odor and the rooms are outdated.
Enjoyed my stay
The staff were all friendly
The room Had an odor. The suite is not a suite. No refrigerators in the rooms. Advertises three tv's but only 1. Needed flip flops to take a shower. Whirlpool jet came loose and hit friend in head. Thermostat would not adjust enough to cool room completely.
Location is OK and price is par for the older facilities.
Old antique TV and rooms have not been upgraded since the old Isle of Capri days. Paint is peeling in some parts of the room and the room was a smoking room instead of non smoking. Had cigarette burns on the table. Place definitely needs an overhaul. Casino was too tight also.
I didn't like anything about it front desk clerk seemed agitated when answering the phone bathroom floor had blood drops and hair everywhere. Called front desk to let them know the problems of the room and instead of changing my room they sent up housekeeping. The housekeeper was really nice that's about it.
Hotel was very dated, my room had poor water pressure in the shower, needed to be cleaned, a 21" TUBE TV, didn't know they still had those. Bed was not comfortable. Just overall poor stay.
