Central location very good for Uni and racecourse
Coffee was v poor.
our room was a good size not cramped staff very helpful
Poor standard of hygiene. Massive cobweb between net curtains and window. Tea and coffee tray dirty. Toilet did not flush.
Nice comfortable room. Very close to town, good location.
Quite noisy banging doors early in the morning. No Tea/coffe in room.
Convenient for course
Cold room, unable to work heating, noisy (beside main road and no double glazing to reduce noise)
Not very clean, large hole in bedroom carpet and a broken window!
It was my daughter that stayed at the hotel.
It was a gift from me, her mother, as I stayed there 4 years ago when she was at uni. I loved it, she hated it. Her bed linen was dirty, the room was not clean and the staff were dismissive. The breakfast was awful.
Convenience to town.
Food was good, but not really up to the cost.
I was called three times regarding a roomservice call I never placed and the room was too hot with no easy way to cool it down.
the friendliness of the staff
i requested a light bulb to be changed beside my bed to allow me to read, this bulb was flashing and anoying. it was not changed
No facilty for dialling in - telephone point in the room could not be unplugged and no wireless facility
