克萊登貝斯特韋斯特酒店

Off the A14 a short drive northwest of Ipswich, England, the Claydon Hotel makes a restful base in stylish surroundings. Air-conditioned bedrooms, a Victorian restaurant and a relaxed lounge bar provide comfort and space in equal measure, while the country house setting offers room to breathe and a sense of quiet calm. Delightful gardens wrap the house for a quiet wander, the lounge bar makes an easy spot to settle, and the kitchen keeps things hearty while the service stays unobtrusive. Ipswich and its waterfront marina are a short drive off, Constable country and the Stour valley lie close to the south, and the Suffolk coast at Felixstowe and Aldeburgh are within reach. The A14 puts Bury St Edmunds and its abbey gardens within easy range, and the gentle Suffolk countryside spreads out around the house. Walk the water meadows at Flatford, where Constable painted The Hay Wain, in the soft light of early morning before the crowds. Book your stay at the Best Western Claydon Hotel and let Constable country open up around you.
