The hotel staff was brilliant!! Very helpful and caring. The hotel was def a 4*. It was clean and posh. Food was excellent. Overall excellent!!!! If I go to Turkey again then will def stay at assos hotel.
Just excellent !!!
My wife and I were in Istanbul for 64 hours and the Assos was an excellent choice for us, for price and location. The premises are well kept in a unique area of the city and capable of multilingual multicultural guests. We will certainly recommend it to our friends, family, colleagues.
The Turkish Bath in the hotel was excellent although the facilities were limited
Lots! Firstly, they gave our room away and charged our credit card for the first night because we were not there at 6pm....we arrived at 6:45pm. Not in my view a late arrival. Secondly, the 'sister' hotel we were sent to on the first night was a disgrace. The bathroom had not been cleaned, dirty towel and used soaps, was moldy and cracked tiles and sink. The air conditioning did not work in either hotel and the rooms were onto a main road so leaving the windows open was not a great option. The staff tried to seel us a tour by mis-leading us about what was included because we had chosen a tour from an independent operator. Finally, they held our transport to the airport while they argued about minibar charges causing a delay.
This hotel has a great location.
First, they gave us the wrong room, and they did not want to change it. They where complaining to us that if they change our room to the right one they will not be able to sell the room we got that day. The breakfast was also a bit poor.
The hotel was awful. It rained in through the walls and the floors were full of water. After complaining to the the staff they did nothing. The second night we got an other room. The hotel staff said the rain problem was total news to them and that they had no idea that such a problem existed. However, later on we heard from another guest that they had been given our previous room and when they complained about it, the hotel staff told the same story to them, i.e. that they had no idea it rained in etc... Although demanding a price reduction, the hotel refused to even discuss it. Furthermore, the walls were so thin you could hear everything that your room neighbour did.
Near to shop
Facılıty ıs very expencıfe
Very friendly hotel staff, good communication skills, parking onsite, good location.
No sound isolated rooms
The room was spacious, the roof top restaurant was very elegant, the lobby was also very elegant
The room had a very small tv, in the bathroom there were no soap,no shower cap, no shampoo...only cheep liquid soap. The breakfast was really poor ( it seems that it's a rule in Istanbul) : the omlette, potatoes and eggs were supposed to be hot but there were really cold, there was only black tea, no fruit tea...nothing.The coffee had finished at 9.30 and they didn't replace it.
