Great hotel, value for money is perfect
Breakfast could be better, but you may not expect too much for such price
Convenient location for visiting historical sites in Istanbul.
Nothing specific except some amenities could be improved.
We left early because our room was so loud and smelled bad. Not a comfortable experience.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room we ended up in was small but charming. Breakfast was very nice. Location was perfect.
The first room we had was damp and had mould on the ceiling - the shower also leaked all over the bathroom floor. We switched rooms the next day and the second room was fine.
Very helpful staff and good location
Good breakfast, great view from terrace. Good location. Those members of the staff who could speak English were very friendly and helpful.
Our first room was a "double" but the beds were separated (which we were not expecting), the bathroom had a moldy smell and the door out onto the back balcony didn't lock. We complained and we were moved into a room that we were very happy with. One receptionist did not know more than a handful of words in English, which made it difficult to communicate on more curly topics, such as the room.
Perfect location (10-minute walk to Aya Sofya, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and the Marmara Sea). Helpful staff (the manager helped us with the room -he upgraded the room and at the same time gave us discount- arrange transportation, select tourist guide, rented a car, etc. even before we got to Istanbul)
No reception area. Whenever we had to wait for somebody, we had to wait upstairs (in our room or dining room)
The location was good. Everything from the hotel decor to the breakfast seemed quite Turkish, which was nice.
The room was very small, even by European standards. The bed was tiny and it was pushed into a corner. The bathroom was a good size but the shower didn't have a proper door so the floor got wet every time it was used. Also, the water temperature was difficult to control - when it was adjuted slightly it was either boiling or freezing.
The hotel is located in few minutes walking distance from the Blue Mosque and from the Bosporus. The staff is outstandingly friendly and will give valuable help in exploring city, like suggesting excursions, places to eat, rent a car etc. The hotel itself is in excellent condition, very clean, good breakfast … the room decoration is a nice touch.
Would not recommend for elderly/disabled travelers, there is no elevator and the stairs are not easy to use.
The staff were always very friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic!
