the service staff was very friendly. the breakfast buffet, although traditional turkish breakfast, had plenty of variety and we thought it was good. We did not use any of the other hotel services since we were out sight seeing each day. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the metro that got you anywhere in the city you wanted to go. Not sure where to put this, but the hotel is better known locally as Hotel Berr. Tulip Inn confused some of the taxi drivers at the ferry.
We went to the bar the first evening and when we paid, I placed Turkish Lira on the bar, they really wanted Euro, so we did a currency exchange on the spot and I received Euro as change. Also, the last night there, there was a party on a floor above us that was very noisy at times - tough when you have a 3AM wake up call
I enjoyed the comfort of having private parking place.
The beds are fine and comfortable. They safely kept our luggage on the last day because our plane was in the afternoon and we wanted to visit.
The hotel was a 4 stars about 20 years ago, It has not been renovated since then. The bath was so dirty I was afraid to shower. The white walls where black at some places because it has never been cleaned. The breakfast is very poor, nothing good to eat there. There is at least an hour of walk to do the Grand Bazar. There was no airport shuttle even if the Booking site said so. The hamman wasn't free and it looked awful.
