Very nice not very big hotel in beautiful El Gouna. We had a room with the view on lagoon this time. It was marvelous to sit at the balcony and to enjoy the early morning sarrounded by blossoming trees around hotel and looking at lagoon and palms and villas on the other side. Like in paradise :) Romantic 2 minuts trip to the beach at the island. A lot of kite-surfers during 2 first days due to strong wind. Other days - no wind, as a result - no kite surfers, but nice possibility to swim and relax:) The atmosphere is very warm at the hotel, hotel staff very nice and polite and helpful. It is the second time we choosed this hotel.
Hotel has very good location, very close to city center, staying was very nice and pleasant. Good base for diving.
Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It's beautiful, comfort one for quiet relax. Hotel is located at the down town, the oldest area of the city. You can rent a bysicle and make a trip across El Gouna. Trips by boat to the sea beach add some romance to your stay.
Music that was offered at the hotel suites it's atmosphere, but you can rarely listen to it.
We found the staff very helpful. They all wanted to serve us and were polite considerate and cheerful.
The furniture in the bedroom was well worn and could do with renewal, but it did not detract from the enjoyment of our stay.
Nice hotel, nothing bad to say about.

rooms need a mirror
The hotel is in an ideal location, the staff are excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is well laid out in pretty gardens on the edge of the lagoon. Overall, this was perfect for a restful and enjoyable holiday with options to use local restaurants.
There was nothing that we did not like about the Hotel.
I like its design and vegitation. Rooms are spaceous and comfortable but the 9 PM show is poor. At least better strong light on the stage could make a difference.
The 4-star Sultan Bey Hotel’s wonderful setting overlooks the lagoons in the central location of Kafr El Gouna, offering a peaceful base from which to explore the seaside and the town.
he Sultan Bey Hotel offers the best of both worlds with a beautiful lagoon setting in the heart of Downtown Kafr El Gouna. The pale salmon and beige domes and arches inspired by traditional Nubian architecture disappear in places under the blooms of flowering bougainvillea. Situated on Kafr Island, the oldest part of El Gouna home to colorful shopping galleries, bars, and restaurants, it is a short stroll across a road bridge to Tamr Henna Square and its supermarkets, service providers, and nighttime entertainment venues.
Sultan Bey Hotel provides a comfortable base from which to explore the seaside and the resort town. Many of its 115 rooms were recently renovated and now feature new electronic equipment and upgraded bathrooms.
