Excellent bed sheets
Miserable people at the front desk, brutally rough and impolite. Very cynical manager on duty, (Pedro?), of the old school of management; promising but not delivering, so as to control clients. Not coming back.
Staff was very helpful and conversant in English.
Limited menu for room service and food was not outstanding.
Newness of hotel, great wifi and good bathrooms
close enough to centre plus good rooms
2 interconnecting rooms of good size and clean, metro opposite hotel so easy to get into centre
Clean, quiet, with good sized rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were modern. Public transportation and taxis easily available. The center of town was only a 10 min. drive. Plenty of small restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Breakfast available on-site. Full service restaurant available on-site.
It is not at the center of town, the room did not have a bath tub.
Close to the Metro
The work going on, It was a building site.
My single room was very clean. Reception staff were very helpful. Very convenient for Metro, buses and Prado.
Lack of coffee making facilities in room. Poor choice and quality of breakfast.
hotel is quite good positioned, close to the beautiful Retiro park, central railway station Atocha, museums( Prado, Reina Sofia, Thysen ) even not away from Puerto del Sol area; helpful & kind stuff
buffet breakfast is not so inventive, sound isolation is poor ( you hear each toillette flushing in the neighbourhood )
I chose it because It is very close to the metro station and not too expensive.
I liked that the room was comfortable, I was sick while in Madrid and spent a day in the hotel comfortably.
Hotel staff don't speak English. The few that do don't want/like to. The lack of windows double-glazing makes the room very noisy at night.
One could not ask for more, the hotel staff were excellent and the hotel itself a pleasure to stay in.
Rooms were cleaned each day.
Staff was not interested in customers at all, no friendlyness which you expect from a *** star hotel.
Noise of the police cars at night. you hear a siren every 30 minutes all night long. I was on 9th floor on the side of the street. The door to the bathroom got locked. we had to call the reception. They sent someone in 5 minutes with the right tool to open the dorr from the inside. locking the door when the door is not closed, then closing the door can get you in this situation ...
