The front desk staff was accommodating to us changing the date of our stay, even though the staff at Kayak told us it was not possible.
The upcharge for breakfast amd even coffee.
price was good but the location was rather isolated. definitely not in the city center, but enough within walking distance (food / grocery, a couple of shops) that it worked out. about 10min to town via the Straeto bus 5.
The location is very quiet, but within walking distance of a lot of places to eat and a beautiful park.
The staff was not very friendly. I was surprised to find that breakfast was not included in the price of the hotel, and was ridiculously expensive.
A place to crash for the night. No elevators!
Very small rooms, just like any other hotel room in Iceland. No elevators. You have to carry your luggage over two flights of stairs if you are alloted a room in the second floor. Place looks rundown. Very overpriced breakfast.
For less than $60 USD, this was a pretty good deal.
The light switches in the rooms did not work and the room had a slight stench due to the slufer in the water. This did not happen in the other 3 hotels I stayed in while in Iceland.
Too far from the centre, no elevator, very poor facilities
good value, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast
no elevator (we had big bags)
good value for money, free parking, breakfast decent but lousy coffee
small bathroom, no elevator
Room is very big and has a kitchenette. Interent connection is free and reliable. Breakfast is quite good.
No lift and need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs to reach the room.
compliments to the staff for all the help and our service requests
Stafff friendly and welcoming, you were made to feel at home, nothing was an effort. Breakfast selections were varied and sufficient.
It would have been good to have tea and coffee facilities in our room
Management was great, close to the city centre
A little to far from the city.
Large room size, Good breakfast.
Location. Not close to the city.
The wireless internet access worked very well from the common rooms. The breakfast selection was adequate and the quantity was generous. The bus service is very good with stops for half-a-dozen lines within four blocks of the hotel.
Beds were narrow. Television only had one or two channels in English
