The staff was professional and helpful.There was a friendly cat walking around the hotel

It would have been great to have a private toilet in the room, but the shared toilet was clean all right

Location and breakfast was good

Stairs on the hotel were very difficult to climb with a suitcase and the room was very small.

staff were friendly, breakfast was simple but surprisingly good and delivered to the room, all things were simple but clean and comfortable and that was what we asked for :) kinda had a home feeling.

Small inexpensive pleasant hotel with a convenient arrangement in the pedestrian availability from all pleasures of this city. The unostentatious personnel, modest, but a quite good breakfast in a room, relative silence - all it makes impression that you have come there where always wait for you

Probably, upstairs high and abrupt, but it is Amsterdam, anywhere you will not get to

Good location.

Very steep and narrow stairs. Despite website saying check in from 12 noon, we were informed on arrival at 2pm that there'd be a 30-45 minute wait until our rooms were ready. Wished to pay by credit card but staff asked us go out and get cash, said that wasn't possible so they reluctantly agreed to accept cards. Another guest's room had been cancelled and, despite the sign on the door saying they still had vacancies, they put a spare bed in my already tiny single room, removed the fridge. In spite of this, the full amount was still charged. Toilets only had cold water, not very hygenic, plus very grubby hand towels. Lots of noise in the night from residents plus the hotel's cat. Would not stay there again.
