The staff were very helpful, booking me taxis, and letting me use the internet when I realised that my phone battery had died during the night.
I didn't think the breakfast selection was value for money.
the hotel is very close to Dam whic is city center. 15mins by walk or 5 mins by tram. I find a the train thats going to central station and at central station there are 3 trams numbered 1,2 and 5. The nearest tram station was 5 mins by walk from the Hotel. Also so close to the Melkweg and Paradiso 5 mins by walk. There is a good cafe close to hotel dont remember the name.
The hotel totally needs a renewing. The rooms are small but ok. There was no bathtub in the bathroom just a hole for water.. if you take a shower all the bath turns in a lake. i did not like the wardrobe and the other furniture also. A good renewing is a must for this hotel. I did not want to pay for the breakfast so i have no idea.. i have my breakfasts outside. But room cleaning service works well.
Location towards the center was very good
We had no window and the room was very hot, loud and a big hole in the floor of the shower
I liked most the location - not at the very heart of Amsterdam, but at the same time near to the city center, the museum area and close to the fantastic Vondelpark. The stuff of Quentin England Hotel was really kind and professional. It was a great stay, though I spent more of the time outside the hotel ;)
I have no reproofs.
Clean and separate number ))
The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and clean
The towels weren't changed at all during my week stay
Comfortable, in the center, decent price, room had a terrace
It is very easy to reach and although central, it is on a quiet street.
The room was terribly dark, with only a tiny window, no air circulation and thus unberably hot, it was not properly cleaned, no telephone calls to outside numbers possible, advance payment necessary, 5% surcharge for credit card payment and the staff was incompetent at times.
The hotel is very well situated in the heart of most things in amsterdam being just a 10 minute tram journey from the central station we will be definitely visiting this hotel again as it's in a lovely quiet area but still close to all amenities and night life.
Room was very tiny and smelled like a pub (smoke smell).
With a stay at Quentin England Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Amsterdam, within a 10-minute walk of Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Featured amenities include a computer station, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
