Good location for Bury St Edmunds. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
Couldn't fault this hotel
Food was suprisingly good given the environment but the breakfast was very expensive for what it was
The entire interior is in dire need of a make over and the location is right alongside the A14 so is very noisy day and night.
The taps and shower that either scold you or freeze you and nothing inbetween and the atrocious attitude of the staff when I told them about it....'oh well, are you paying on the same card'...................
Excessive traffic noise. The need to keep window closed made the room V. hot & stuffy.Public areas-bar & dining area were cold and didn't encourage a lingering meal or drink afterwards.Food surprisingly good in the evening but buffet breakfast poor &coffee awful,so much so we skipped breakfast on the 2nd morning (bought rumbout filter type coffee & fresh milk for use in our room instead) Receptionist tried to put a flat advance charge for meals/drinks through on my card upon arrival ! I suppose this indicates the average level of your customers. We wouldn't stay again.
Friendly and efficient staff
