優點： Managed to get a seat in a good spot which more legs soace
缺點： Chinese regulation forbid the use of any cell phone during the entire flight... even in flight mode!!! This is utterly frustrating and annoying, especially when the flight is 15 hours long!!! Also food was meat only, no possibility to get fish or vegetarian
優點： Not knowing much about this airline, I was pleasantly surprised with the short flight from Edinburgh to Dublin. Sorry all you plane geeks, I don't know what model aircraft it was, but I was seated in the middle of a 2-3-2 arrangement. Boarding was speedy, staff pleasant and even offered a sandwich in the short hop. Seats were comfortable and being early on a Saturday morning, it was not fully packed. This meant that getting off was not a chore. I'd definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you use them for the sort flight like I made.
缺點： The only issue that marks them down was the lack of on line check in for the flight (Edinburgh to Dublin). Despite that, checking in via a traditional route was efficient and done with a smile.
優點： An average experience. The seat is large enough for economy. The flight time was shorter than expected.
缺點： I wish slippers were provided as our flight was in the middle of the night. The in-flight entertainment was a local TV program on a shared screen. I wore an eye mask so it didn't bother me too much, but it sucked that I couldn't just turn it off.
優點： My dietary preferences didn't get reported right and the flight attendant was very accomodating and made me a platter of a bunch of sides whereas other airlines in my experiences just say tough luck.
缺點： I don't speak Chinese so I found their website very confusing and couldn't navigate my booking online well
優點： The entertainment was good. Food from SFO to Shanghai was better than Shanghai to Toronto.
缺點： On our flight from Shanghai to Toronto (September 27th, 2016 @ 12pm - flight MU207) was total madness. A lot of the passengers were out of control. I've never seen anything like it. The amount of people walking around were unbelievable. People were playing cards, doing jumping jacks and tai chi around the emergency exit. None of the flight attendants tried to control the crowd nor informed them that they shouldn't be doing that by the emergency door. We had to inform the flight attendants of what was going on while they were hanging it or doing whatever they were doing in their own area. If that wasn't stressful enough, the passenger behind me started punching my seat and shaking my headrest multiple times because he wasn't happy that I had my chair reclined. EVERYONE HAD THEIR CHAIR RECLINED. We called the flight attendant and she apologized for what the man had done instead of putting him in his place and him apologizing for what he did because not long after she left he did the same thing! I've never experienced such a horrible flight and I've been on over 20+ flights just this year. China Eastern really needs to train their flight attendants better and teach them how to manage passengers when they are out of control. I've never written any reviews before but this was just such a terrible experience that I needed to leave this review.
