優點： My previous flight was delayed so I missed the plane I was scheduled for, but Air China found me a replacement flight that was only a couple of hours later. Despite the extra passengers from the delayed flight the plane still had a few empty seats and I was able to take an exit seat for extra legroom (I'm 6'5"), although I will still upgrade in future.
缺點： On the flight out the plane was really warm, so this time I dressed on that basis, but the flight was really quite cold. I guess I'll have to figure out a changable set of cloths in future.
優點： Prompt and customer-oriented service. Thank you to counter staff for arranging the seat change. I thought I had confirmed the seating during web-checkin but was told that there was no history of confirming the seats in the system.
缺點： A change of snack for to and fro journey would be good.
缺點： I wasn’t able to check in online and therefore wasn’t able to update with my dietary requirements which meant I couldn’t really eat anything that was given. I was told at the airport that it needs to be submitted 24 hrs before the flight and there was nothing they could do. Really unfair and not on.
優點： The plane was comfortable; the entertainment modern with a fair selection of newer movies; and the little comfort packets were nice.
缺點： The plane was delayed (on both my Bangkok link and the one to the States. We had booked a layover tour and missed out. We could have still made the tour if we had known earlier that the second leg was late as well. The customs agent took my duty-free zippo which had NO GAS in it (and I was later told by a Chinese citizen was taken to be sold later by the agent). I missed my connection in the US. The flight attendant was rude to us, but extremely nice to the Chinese citizen sitting next to us (several times skipped us when delivering snacks - we were awake). At one point, I had to go back and get a snack from the back). There was no comfortable seats in the Beijing Airport area where we were cornered (and the food was overpriced). They ran out of drinks. More than disappointing
優點： I was lucky enough to travel on the 777-300 new config business. Pyjamas to boot, never had those in biz class before. Hats off to China Eastern, exceeded my expectations and beat the competition. Gutted my flight is with Lufthansa from Shanghai to Frankfurt. Will definitely be looking to fly with them again. Can't comment on economy as didn't get chance to look around.
缺點： the flight was 30 minutes late, which caused me to miss my connection AMS-LDN, where my cousin was waiting to take me on to my Auntys Funeral at 10.30. MU head flight attendant said at first the flight was NOT late, even though we were scheduled to depart at 1245 we waited on tarmac until 1.15 and arrived AMS at 7.10 instead of 6.35.When I pointed out this lie she said "not our problem, speak to KLM lady on ground" ...I did ..and am now waiting for a flight at 13.20 TO A DIFFERENT AIRPORT IN LONDON, and 3 hrs AFTER my aunt's funeral.MU..the worst thing is I have them on my return flight to Japan.I am thinking if forfeiting that leg and booking with and airline that cares about their customers, instead of just taking your money.MU never again. Let them treat their own citizens with contempt.
