Maybe it was the airplane since I flew with ANA last year but with the 787. The difference is almost night and day."

優點： "Both segments Houston to Narita and Narita to Vietnam were pleasant. The seats are spacious, food was fine (nothing exquisite but good enough!). Flight attendants are very attentive. Waster and snacks were provided between meals."
缺點： "It was difficult to understand English announcements on board. Also there wasn’t adequate instructions in Vietnamese. Majority of passengers are Vietnamese family with small children. My suggestion is that instructions in Vietnamese should be made more often to avoid chaos particularly when deplane."

優點： "I traveled with my wife and twin sons who turned two last month. It was our first time to fly with the boys, and we were nervous about the flight for this reason. Thanks to ANA's staff both on the ground and in the air, everything went very smoothly. When we arrived at Haneda Airport (around 1:30pm), we went to the Special Assistance counter to get a stroller. The staff was friendly and patient, and didn't rush us at all. (It took a little while to get our things in order.) I was surprised to learn that we could check in from there, drop off our checked luggage and receive boarding passes, as well as an airport stroller. In addition, the boy who was awake at the time received an ANA airplane clip. We didn't get to the gate in time for pre-boarding. I was dismayed to find out that we'd have to take a bus to the aircraft. We had the maximum number of carry-on bags, plus two babies, only one of whom was in a carrier, and we learned that the stroller couldn't go on the bus. A gate agent brought our carry-ons onto the bus. She found priority seats for us and a place nearby to fit a bag that couldn't fit on one of our laps. On board, the cabin attendants were attentive and friendly, and gave toys to the boys. When we arrived at Hagi-Iwami Airport, two of them even carried all of our carry-on bags off the plane for us. (They also helped with our carry-on luggage upon returning to Tokyo. In fact, we had forgotten to reserve a stroller for when we deplaned, and a flight attendant tried to find one near the gate, to no avail.) When I think about all the positive experiences we had in a span of about three and a half hours, I am amazed at all the different people who helped to make our journey easier. I cannot imagine it happening in my home country or on most airlines I have flown."

優點： "As my other flights with them, the crew is so friendly, the planes are nice and pretty good movie selection. Also nicely organized and they apologized profusely for the hour delay. I wish all of the American airline companies would learn from them! Great beverage service too, even when people are sleeping they quietly come around for us who are awake."

缺點： "Nothing as far as human services. Thai used to be and I have flown Thai since i was a teenager, many many times. I used to every time get excited to fly with Thai. this time i had two Thai connections between Tokyo - Bankgkok and Bangkok-Delhi, both times my two young minor children were automatically seated away from me and each other also during checkin process. it took a lot of time and convincing the agent to get my own children seated with me on long international flights! Food service was worse than expect for name of Thai airways!"

缺點： "The check-in at LAX. They form 2 different lines for Economy. The 1st line was lined with the people arriving first. Then the 2nd line started to fill later. But when the ANA agents came out, they have no clue and serve the line of the people arriving later. Should know what they are doing. Either just 1 line, or if 2 lines, should ask which line come first"

缺點： "Both flights took off late one flight was over an hour late I missed my connecting flights and was forced to take 2 additional flights instead of my direct flight The food is Japanese cuisine, if you are ok with experimenting and like their cooking. The flight attendants were not able to communicate with us in English regarding our missed flights"

優點： "My 96-yr-old father was given an airport wheelchair after we checked his own transport chair. He was wheeled through security and to the departure gate. We were advised they changed us to a bulkhead row w/an unoccupied seat adjacent to his. Twice during the flight one of the flight attendants came to tell him that she would help him off the plane so to wait for her after the rest of the passengers disembarked. The meal was very tasty.Chicken karaage was not crispy but I wouldn't expect it to be. The rest of the items were well seasoned with the right consistency. Dessert was a flan custard with passion fruit sauce (very Hawaii!), even including a few seeds from the fruit as garnish."

缺點： "The seats didn't recline at all. Normally I wouldn't care but it was a 12 1/2 hour trip. There wasn't a lot of good, recent movie releases. On other airlines there was more to choose from that were more recent releases. The food wasn't very good. It had all fish choices or beef tongue. I understand having an Asian meal, but maybe should be a more popular meal with different choices than a more eclectic menu. I noticed even the child's meal was not very kid friendly."
