缺點: "This was a JetStar flight, not JAL as the title says. I've only had good experiences with JAL. Despite paying for two pieces of baggage, I had to pay an extra charge. One of my pieces was a pair of light skis (5kg, well below the allowed 20kg) that were apparently too long for normal baggage. It is just another way to extract an extra fee. Seat spacing on Jet Star is dismal. Thankfully it was a short flight"

When we arrived February 16th they stated we were "standby" after a debated discussion they found us some seats at the very back of the plane (not our selected seats). On our flight back they had us, my husband and I seating in separate sections on the plane (again not our selected seats) 6 rows away from each other. I will NOT recommend using Kayak in the future. 優點: "The crews on ANA (Flight Attendants) are the hardest working, most polite and service oriented of ANY carrier I can remember. When the cabin lights are ON, the crew is hustling to keep the passengers occupied and chewing. Free Beer, Wine and mixed drinks in Coach! Every Service - Snack, Drinks, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee/Tea, Second and Third rounds of drinks includes a cold towel to wipe your face and hands and most important, trash is collected promptly EVERY single time. WOW. I noticed that Flight Attendants take notes on sleeping passengers for every major meal service, and they take the time to revisit those customers when awake to check they might have wanted to be fed. I also noticed that the crew has special double sided tape to pickup crumbs and spills in the aisles so grime is not tracked into the carpet. Dont be surprized to see a flight attendant cruising the aisle after dinner with a soft cooler full of small vanilla Hagen Daz cups..."
缺點: "We flew from Bangkok to Washington Dulles with a connection in Tokyo. Snow in Japan caused crew shifts to max out and ultimately a dramatic change in flight departure. (Guaranteeing a missed connection) This caused multiple downstream challenges. 1. Original flight was scheduled for 00:30. (Half Past Midnight), rescheduled flight was scheduled for 12:30 (Half Past Noon) For Americans unused to a 24 hour clock, this made emails From ANA very difficult to wrap your mind around. Was it a typo? What happens when you miss your connection? (Turns out weather delays do NOT result in accommodations or meals being provided) Rescheduled flight should have been for 1231 with (AM/PM in Parentheses) 2. For passengers who spent their vacation/trip near the equator, the prospect of spending the night in snowbound Tokyo was simply not addressed in the cancellation email. The better option was to stay in your original point of origin and make the connection in one day, but email has NO telephone number for passengers to call to make these arrangements. (We ended up calling a toll California telephone number to be sure we got an English speaking agent) 3. Many SE Asian departing cities have a crazy baggage weight policy that allows for Two bags of 25 Kilos each , but if you have a single bag that weights 32 Kilos, you must pay excess baggage. Although the policy may NOT be specific to ANA, there are hundreds of folks of all nationalities repacking suitcases on the floor of the airport, to try to meet the regulations. As a traveler I understand this, but as an ANA customer it makes no sense, especially when the ticket agent cannot charge the overage to a credit card at the ticket counter. Instead sending you to a different location then waiting for you to return with a receipt. Its a huge scam and ANA can do better communicating the rules to passengers via email or their web site. Nothing starts a long trip off worse than arguments over arcane rules. 4. Changing a return flight arrangement as a result of weather happens at the last moment, but seat assignments apparently could not keep up. I would rather NOT fly than face a center seat in coach for 14 hours. I cannot explain what happened, but repeated attempts at advance check in showed NO assigned seats available, the ticket and gate agents could not improve on this, but BOTH flights ended up having empty seats and in the end we stressed for nothing. ANA must be able to do better, improving their IT systems to make advance seat assignments possible no matter how challenging the problem of "equipment" and other changes in the face of a canceled flight."

優點: "Staff were friendly from check in to disembark. Food was quite good. Boarded on time and people were accomodating of one another in the entry and exit process."
缺點: "I was travelling with my twin 11 yr olds one of whom has limited sight. They normally only allow early boarding of young children, but we need extra time as I have 2 children to organise and my daughters sight dictates that i have to assist her. Other passengers were not impressed. I would like the airlines to take the initiative to have all children boarded early as if we board with everyone else, the aisles will be blocked as my children try to get organised."

If you're further back or not so tall s difficult to see which queue is correct... quite a few people (not me fortunately!) got turned away because they don't know ANA's boarding system. Also a problem with boarding at HND where the overhead monitors show BIz but not First/Diamond. As some other reviews pointed out, BBC news just didn't work. CNN worked intermittently."

優點: "They wouldn't allow me on my flight from Shanghai to Los Angeles one an a half hours before my flight because they said that the gate had closed an hour and a half before the flight was set to depart. And the flight was delayed for an hour total Garbage. They sent me to a hotel in Shanghai and said I was booked the following morning. When I arrived the next day they didn’t have any information about my situation and wanted to charge me for a new business class seat."

缺點: "Upon arrival in PVG, CEA representative met me and gave 2 meal vouchers even though I was supposed to receive a hotel for the 20 hour layover. She denied that any hotel was supposed to be provided and told me to go talk to the transfer counter, despite it being obvious that no one was at the counter. All CEA counters in the airport were in fact closed because it was 1am, and the best the phone hotline could do was verify my reservation but tell me that since all their employees had gone home there was no one in the airport they could reach. They suggested I “quickly look around” the airport to see if I might find a CEA employee to show the reservation to. I ended paying for what turned out to be a horribly dirty motel for the night. Will definitely be avoiding CEA in the future. Also, plane smelled like people were smoking on board."

優點: "Flight attendants smiled this time. Two years ago and I thought they were all going to cry the whole voyage (maybe double shifts? or told earlier they were all fired?)."
缺點: "China Eastern, the airline people fly for the bargain prices... and we suffer for it. Worst this time was that they lied on the flight times and 'forgot' to include the 13 hour overnight layover in Shanghai! Now Shanghai Airport has closed the transfer terminal at night, so flying Shanghai Airlines from Bkk with the midnight arrival leaves you stranded with a 13 hour, all night layover and nowhere to sleep. A nightmare. Food was terrible. Flight wasn't terrible but check in was a nightmare, as always. oh... even worse... they wouldn't check me in for both flights!!! So, I will have to check in through ANOTHER NIGHTMARE standing in line like cattle check in. I wish they had a line for people without bags. But when I check in for an international flight with connections, I do NOT want to have to do it twice... and stress about my seat, etc. etc. Bad airline. Avoid it if you can."

缺點: "I really didn't enjoy the food or entertainment. Food as always is just a matter of preference and plus it's air plane food so I guess there is no point in overly critiquing it. I will say they give you a pretty large portion size so if you like the food you are in luck. I did not like the entertainment. They ran two movies everyone had to watch, this would normally not be a problem as I would just listen to my own music or audiobook or whatever I downloaded but this airline does not let you use your smart phone at all during the flight even when on airplane mode."

Then they didn't tell us that that would cancel the rest of the flights for the trip so I was stranded in Bangkok for an additional two days and I missed my flight back to New York and I had to buy a new ticket. I also had flights to Hawaii that I was not able to use and I was only able to get reimbursed for one of those tickets. It was an awful, horrible experience."

缺點: "There was no paper in the bathroom (toilet paper, tissues, or paper towels) for most of the 5 hour flight. I notified the flight attendants on two separate occasions about it but nothing was done. There was turbulence on the flight and because things were delayed because of it, the flight attendants didn't seem to know how to modify their usual pacing to accommodate it."

The wifi didn't really work or was so slow you couldn't open anything. Meal selections and snacks were just ok. There was really nothing on the menus that were spectacular. Headphones and things like that were cheap and not really any better then economy. Lay flat was what was important to me and the price was really good but knowing now what I know would pay more for a better carrier with better business class amenities."

缺點: "After being served a meal that made me violently ill , it was all I could do to stay out of the bathroom. China Eastern website is inaccessible unusable and the customer service help line was even worse. So I just forgot about even being able to pick my seat. There is absolutely no information or entertainment system on this flight. When the plane from Bangkok to Beijing touchdown at the airport we hit so hard the plane bounced, the hardest Landing I've ever experienced and I have been flying for over 40 years."

缺點: "Dropped us on the runway and had to take the bus to get to the terminal. This was an issue as I only had 1.5 hr to connect to my international flight. Probably nothing they could have done, but still irksome."

優點: "The flights were close to being on time. The plane was not too packed. The food was hot and satisfying. The staff was well trained and presentably attractive. Things were clean."
缺點: "That dang bus trip to the airplane. Not much to do for it, though; inexpensive means the plane does not incur charges for terminal connection. Maybe when the construction at Singapore is completed, that will change."

優點: "Very clean, prompt food service, kind and quick staff. Very happy with my flight!! Looking forward to booking China Eastern again :)"
缺點: "Quality of the movie, difficult to hear the voices with the given earphones."

缺點: "Crew members were nicer than those on China Eastern, their sister airline."

缺點: "I could not hear the announcements at all, volume is too low. After the flight took off for about one hour, I tried to go to the bathroom, but the seat belt sign was on most of the time."
