優點： "I was recently on flight CI054 from Auckland to Taipei, with a short layover in Brisbane (my final destination was Incheon, South Korea. Due to fog in Brisbane, the flight was diverted to Gold Coast. After arriving in Gold Coast we had to take a bus to Brisbane. It's kind of a long story, but basically I will say it was handled well for the most part my China airlines. Certainly, fog was not there fault and they did everything they could to accommodate passengers, including putting us up in two very nice hotels."

Nobody on the plane knew what we were doing - who was supposed to get on the bus and who was supposed to stay. The Australian immigration authorities and Gold Coast airport staff took control, but again, China Airlines staff had completely disappeared. Nobody was there to tell us whether we should collect our luggage, how to get an appropriate visa to enter Australia, where to go to get on the bus (or even if we SHOULD get on the bus). I was really frustrated at the point, but other than that, I would say they handled it quite well"

優點： "A380 is great plane (this coming from a real Boeing enthusiast). Very Quiet! Coach had more leg room than I expected, especially for a non-US carrier. Good service and great inflight entertainment. The airline is not a US domestic carrier so flight staff might not understand every English word of a request but they try very hard. Most US carriers would not try as hard if I were speaking Korean! The whole world does not speak your language and remember that coach is coach for a reason $$$. Customs procedures are out of the control of carriers so comments about that."

In fact several times I was met with a rude response. I try to give flight attendants alot of grace as they work with alot of people and often they are not the nicest or easiest people to work with. In my case I tried to remain courteous but was met with a rude attitude which surprised me as I never experienced this before with Korean air. Most of the time they are some of the best staff I've ever encountered. So not sure if someone was having an off day or was tired, but on my next flight I hope that they will treat me a bit more kindly. Thanks!"

The plane, a massive 787 jet, absorbed the turbulence like it was nothing. It was like riding in one of those Cadillacs from the 1970's. The lavatories were big enough that I could actually stand up straight (and I'm 6'0"). The seats were pretty good as well - they had a feature for extension of the seating surface to allow for more thigh support (which I love) as well as great lumbar support. the movie selection was OK - neither great nor bad, and I ended up watching 4 movies during the flight anyway. ;)"
缺點： "I preface this section by saying that I'm being very nit-picky here - there's not much I can really say, except that the seats, while they will recline to a flat surface, which is great for dozing off, they are angled about 15 degrees so you're constantly sliding down them in that position. Also, there could be more support for your head in the reclined position - I had to futz with pillows and a blanket to get that comfortable. However, the reclined position was the most comfortable, and I could get it so that I was sufficiently reclined with my legs extended and horizontal, while laying back without sliding down. This was sufficient for resting. I'm only mentioning this because I flew a business class flight on Delta in 2015 which had ridiculously amazing seats that reclined all the way flat and horizontal. On the 9-11 hour flight from Tokyo back to San Diego, which will take place mainly at night, this would be a very useful feature."

The chicken curry in economy was ok. The rest of the experience was and continues to be a true nightmare. I was scheduled to take flight DL73 from Amsterdam to Atlanta, having purchased a Delta Premium Select seat - to try for a change, as I had most recently flown the same route in Delta One. However, KLM and agents dressed in Delta uniforms put me in wrong lines to check in and check my luggage, the KLM agent badge said “trainee” and they had me waiting 35 minutes before a more experienced agent came over and finally said “oh of course he is all clear, including the covid test document” and information that I also provided physically and on both the Delta app and the KLM app. The more senior KLM agent apologized and said that my bags would make flight DL73 and I would also make the flight so long as I ran to the gate. I did just this, and despite multiple other passengers being escorted in front of me through security and customs, I ran very fast and was at gate E22 in Schiphol at 11:15, well before the departure time of 11:40 (plane actually departed at 11:44), and certainly over 15 minutes prior to departure/door close - being there 25 minutes before departure. Nonetheless, the gate agent literally saw me and said “Mr. (my name), we just closed the gate.” I was shocked but the same agent said that I would have “no problem” getting on board DL75 at 1pm, including in a Delta Premium Select seat, for which I had paid along with being a Platinum frequent flyer. She told me to wipe the sweat off myself, take a deep breath and that “transfers” at Schiphol would handle and confirm this new flight and details for me. I then stood in a mile long line at gate T6, where KLM and Delta transfers were supposedly being processed. At the same time, I called Delta twice, each for about 35-45 minutes, and Delta said they could not help me, and to speak with KLM. This was also a rude surprise as Delta and KLM used to work together much more smoothly. It was also a lie as I later found out that the Delta Globalist team can help in this situation. An hour later, I made it through the transfers line only to be told that KLM could do nothing other than sell me an entirely new ticket! I then called Delta again, and finally a woman named Alexa (Alexis perhaps) - I think - finally listened to and reviewed my information. She deeply apologized and said that KLM simply listed me as a “no show” which is infuriating and inaccurate. She apologized again and asked to speak jointly with someone at KLM (at Schiphol) because apparently no one at Schiphol actually works with or understands Delta even though these flights were operated by Delta and many individuals wore Delta uniforms. I have flown that route many times as well with no issues whatsoever, but this was a true disgrace for Delta and KLM. The Delta globalist team / Alexa asked to speak to the KLM gate agent. Thus as it was then 12:30pm, I had to run to gate E24 to continue trying to get on board the 1pm flight and put the Delta team in touch with a KLM agent. Finally, at gate E24, the same gate agent from the earlier flight (DL73/gate E22) said, “Mr. (my name), I think your bags are waiting by the plane but I don’t think I can get you or them on this flight either.” I was shocked again, but Alexa and I spoke via speaker phone on my cell phone with the gate agent and a team of 4-5 others that appeared to be with KLM or Delta at the gate based on their uniforms. They finally somehow managed to get me on board, but refused to seat me in the open Delta One seat or the four open Delta Premium Select seats, instead placing me in economy, oddly which the Delta website and app still do not show, instead showing that both flights DL73 and DL75 are still in my itinerary. I am utterly disappointed, shocked and amazed at the level of poor treatment, not to mention why would Delta - and the FAA not have this information clarified in their systems? My luggage still shows as being at Schiphol airport, and my seat was far worse than the mediocre Premium Select seat for which I paid, as the flight attendant spilled cola on me and laughed with other passengers around me about Delta platinum and Diamond status for some reason, apparently unaware that I am a platinum flyer. My Delta app and the website continue to show both flights (from yesterday) in my itinerary as if I am somehow going to fly one of those flights now(?), which is even more confusing. It also clearly shows that despite being Delta Premium Select, a seat for me was “not assigned,” which makes no sense. This was by far the worst experience I have had with Delta and my opinion of Delta went from almost 5 stars to about 1.5 stars due to these unfortunate and awful events.
Issues with luggage, gate agents and flight. Delta has really gone down hill. But the flight agents int he sky were kind and professional. Also enjoyed the entertainment--but shouldn't be charged for headphones.
Flight was delayed and gate was really busy and no where to sit. Overall the flight went well.
Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!
Everything went as expected. Masks were worn, passengers were cooperative, flight was on time, unboarding was uncannily orderly. People remained seated until the people in front of them stood to gather their belongings. It proceeded as a wave almost. I've never seen anything like it. It was like being in the Twilight zone. Boarding still allows about half the plane to board first (passengers with kids and needing help, priority and first class, diamond, sky something or other, military, etc.). Then they board from back to front. Half the plane is already on board so I'm not sure why they bother.

Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."

Then they ran out of food and booze (wine mostly), so they made the nonrev employees go without, which was awkward gif the rest. But the kicker was that they lost my luggage. I told them that it hadn’t been boarded ten minutes prior to pushback. The Venice folks were very excited to be able to show me exactly where they list it (because of the RFID bag tags)... doesn’t do me much good... 10 miles away or 10,000 miles away, I still don’t have my “stuff”"

For someone that has TSA pre check and travels alot, all that extra time adds up and can sometimes cause you to miss your flight. Because there is on "fast line" when you check-in like there is at the security check point. I only have this problem with Delta, never American airlines..."

缺點： "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."
