優點： The seats were fine, considering that this was an overnight flight the blankets and pillows were a nice touch. They topped up my drinks a few times, and brought me water so I could take my medicine which was lovely.
缺點： Service could have been better - there were no vegetarian food options at all, and the crew were not very understanding. Often the flight attendants were brief and brisk and a little cold. But otherwise flight was fine.
優點： Boarding went swiftly and without issues. On board catering however rely's more on pre-booking your meals else there are hardly any options left. Seat was ok and punctuality too.
缺點： The check-in was a mess.. we were the first at the counter but among the last to board. The clerc disappeared with my passport and asked me to transfer luggage on the spot. On top she did not return the booking form. Luckily I had a second copy or my filipino friend would have been stopped by filipino immigration.
優點： Fantastic onboard product in Business Class. Superb seating with all direct aisle access, excellent meals and friendly F/A's.
缺點： I was a little concerned at the lax approach to securing the cabin for take off and landing the F/A's had. The Philippine Airlines lounge is an embarrassment for an airlines hub airport.
優點： The entertainment was good. Food from SFO to Shanghai was better than Shanghai to Toronto.
缺點： On our flight from Shanghai to Toronto (September 27th, 2016 @ 12pm - flight MU207) was total madness. A lot of the passengers were out of control. I've never seen anything like it. The amount of people walking around were unbelievable. People were playing cards, doing jumping jacks and tai chi around the emergency exit. None of the flight attendants tried to control the crowd nor informed them that they shouldn't be doing that by the emergency door. We had to inform the flight attendants of what was going on while they were hanging it or doing whatever they were doing in their own area. If that wasn't stressful enough, the passenger behind me started punching my seat and shaking my headrest multiple times because he wasn't happy that I had my chair reclined. EVERYONE HAD THEIR CHAIR RECLINED. We called the flight attendant and she apologized for what the man had done instead of putting him in his place and him apologizing for what he did because not long after she left he did the same thing! I've never experienced such a horrible flight and I've been on over 20+ flights just this year. China Eastern really needs to train their flight attendants better and teach them how to manage passengers when they are out of control. I've never written any reviews before but this was just such a terrible experience that I needed to leave this review.
優點： I wish I had something to like about it.
缺點： checkin was a nightmare. over an hour and a half to get bags checked and boarding passes. It seemed like every time there was an issue all the staff would stop what they were doing to see what the issue was. nearly missed my scheduled boarding time. Good thing our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. guess I can't complain too much for a budget airline. Just sucks that bag checkin and delays took longer than our actual flight.
優點： Legroom was generous, crew were attentive and polite, although alcohol availability was stingy.
缺點： Food quality was poor bordering on tasteless, more importantly service of lukewarm egg meals is guaranteed to earn an "Air Typhoid" award, and is inexcusable.
