優點： Excellent crew, very attentive and polite. New/newly refurbished plane and very clean.
缺點： I thought I read somewhere that Premium Economy had their own toilets but that didn't seem to be the case. The Mabuhay Lounge (for those with access) is in need of a renovation and can be hard to find seats.
優點： My dietary preferences didn't get reported right and the flight attendant was very accomodating and made me a platter of a bunch of sides whereas other airlines in my experiences just say tough luck.
缺點： I don't speak Chinese so I found their website very confusing and couldn't navigate my booking online well
優點： Delay ex Manila was said to be 3 hours but was shortened. Looking at bright side.
缺點： The reception in Shanghai did not at first permit me to connect on my flight to Rome. If I missed that I have a flight on Monday 11am to Geneva that I would miss. My shortened layover in Shanghai due to Manila delay was still 45 minutes but Inwas being asked to transfer and get another flight through the transfer desk. Luckily After a few minutes in line at the transfer desk, was allowed back on my original flight. However and unfortunately, it was due to another 2 hour delay. arrived Rome 815++ pm ISO 6pm.
優點： Waiting in the departure lounce was ok
缺點： Boarding was kind of stupid Delta is boarding in Zones and starts at the front instead of starting boarding passangers sitting at the back of the plane and moving forward NO they do it the wrong way and due to that boarding takes to long and makes you frustrated.
優點： Even though the communication in English was quite difficult with the majority of the flight attendants, one particular attendant was super nice and went to any length to take care of problems I and other non-Chinese speaking passengers experienced. Arriving in Beijing, I was worried about the proceedings as mentioned in the negativ comment box, but an employee from Hainan Airlines went to pick up passengers transferring to Seoul and take care of the check in process.
缺點： Before boarding the flight, it was not possible to check in online to my connecting flight from Beijing to Seoul. I didn't receive the necessary information and even after I was told about it after calling an employee of Korean Air, I didn't work. The person I spoke with on telephon herself didn't understand, why the system didn't accept my attempt to check in online. That was quite bothersome since I could get a boarding ticket for my Korean Air flight beforehand. Normally I would have to leave the transit area, line up to check in, receive the ticket, go through all check-ups again and go to the gate of departure. My flight left just 2 hours after arriving in Beijing and at airports as big as Beijing, that could have been very close to not being able to make it in time.
