缺點： Delayed 4 hours, waiting in an overcrowded space with no aircon (and it's a tropical country). They kept on saying to wait for next announcement (but no screens, just a broken voice). Announcement were vague and couldn't understand when the flight was supposed to depart.
優點： Boarding went swiftly and without issues. On board catering however rely's more on pre-booking your meals else there are hardly any options left. Seat was ok and punctuality too.
缺點： The check-in was a mess.. we were the first at the counter but among the last to board. The clerc disappeared with my passport and asked me to transfer luggage on the spot. On top she did not return the booking form. Luckily I had a second copy or my filipino friend would have been stopped by filipino immigration.
優點： The crew were super. They were friendly, efficient, and well-dressed. Boarding was orderly. Food service too. The movies were mostly visual jokes and high drama which was perfect since it was a shared screen and not in everyone's language.
缺點： The plane was a bit old and the seats too close together. But it was clean and tidy.
優點： Clean toilets.
缺點： The flight was terrible. The boarding process was improperly conducted causing a lack of overhead space in the baggage storage overhead. The entertainment system was broken and the flight transfer process was terrible and confusing. I had the worst trip in over 300 life time trips. I felt like the price was way too high for the service I received! I need a partial refund at a minimun. This flight was terrible for my 3 children and I.
優點： It was cheap but I would not do it again
缺點： I made friends with another passenger who when texting his number introduced himself as ‘XYZ, flight from hell’. That pretty much sums it up but here’s a laundry list of issues I faced on the trip 1. They landed us in a different airport in China and did not inform us on how to get to the other airport (PVG). After several failed attempts of catching a taxi that accepts Visa or US dollars, we finally got a bus that ferried us 2. They also did not automatically transfer the luggage, so I had to carry my two checked in bags to the other one and then stand in a 45 min queue to get them checked in again 3. Unhelpful ground staff 4. Delayed second flight. After a shitty eight hour long layover, we got another 2 5. Horrible food 6. No ear plugs are available in the plane 7. Not a single apology from the crew about the delay Also, anyone who doesn’t speak mandarin needs to understand that the crew in China is not well equipped to understand and help you, so be prepared to have the translation struggle
優點： I was lucky enough to travel on the 777-300 new config business. Pyjamas to boot, never had those in biz class before. Hats off to China Eastern, exceeded my expectations and beat the competition. Gutted my flight is with Lufthansa from Shanghai to Frankfurt. Will definitely be looking to fly with them again. Can't comment on economy as didn't get chance to look around.
優點： The staff in yangon were extremely helpful and understood my situation. However they were unable to do anything to rectify the issue.
缺點： The time between arrival and departure for the connection flight was too short. Flight was missed. I will make an official complaint. Why sell flight tickets with no time to transfer. Even before the flight, staff knew i would miss the flight. Still nothing could be done.
