缺點: "I'm an entertainer, very well respected in Hawaii, Japan and the world. and has always traveled JAL. I travel with my guitar and has never had a problem carrying it on board. The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation."

優點: "The good: The food was tasty given we were on an airplane. Better entertainment selection than my AA flight to Japan. I prefer the 3-3-3 seat layout to the 2-5-2 because even though I had a middle seat there was only one person to get past in either direction."
缺點: "The bad: The plane was warm. I understand some people get cold, but since blankets are provided I would much prefer a colder plan than a warmer one. The warmth made it hard to sleep, which is a big problem on an overnight flight. JAL does not provide individual air vents to passengers seated where I was. I understand the reason for this, but I wish there was some way to get more comfortable. The seats were standard airline economy seats, roomy enough and with enough legroom for my sub-6-foot frame, but not the most comfortable."

缺點: "I thought I had ordered a vegetarian meal when I booked the flight roughly 1.5 months prior to my trip. However, when the meal was being served, there was only a chicken or pork option and my vegetarian meal had either not been properly booked or had been forgotten. When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system."

優點: "I've been always flying with U.S. airlines this past several years just because transits are easier. I forgot about how friendly and nicer JAL crews are. Their food is much much better. They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

The flight attendants emulate joy in their service to others, they are observant to the clients' needs even before they are asked for help. In a long flight such as this was, it was obvious that they also tend to the comfort of the passengers by ensuring that the restrooms are always clean & presentable. Will fly them again whenever I have the opportunity."

缺點: "We had a last minute flight change to extend my business stay in Asia. Our firm contacted JAL on 3/1 to extend the return date from 3/3 to 3/8. We were told that it was done and just call back on 3/7 to confirm flight. When we called back on 3/7, they said the flight was never rescheduled and could not find a voice recording of the request. Despite our offering of evidence of our other ticket from Osaka to TPE (3/3-3/8 round trip) showing that it was not a no-show, and we have phone records of calling JAL on 3/1. Nevertheless, their customer care center in CHINA was firm that it cannot be done. The money has been wasted. Ridiculous service for a 3,500 business class ticket."

優點: "This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much."

I felt like the price was way too high for the service I received! I need a partial refund at a minimun. This flight was terrible for my 3 children and I."

Overall this was a good experience as value for money as the price was cheaper than many other direct long haul flights"

Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold."

When the meal service arrived the stewardess managed to spray me directly in the eyed when opening a drinks can for someone in the row in front of mine. If there was an apology then i didnt hear it. The inflight main "meal" consisted of rice, vegetables and seven pieces of unidentifiable meat which was each perfectly dimentional, having been cut by a mechanical processor. To be fair, there was ice cream offered, but i didnt want iit. There are better alternatives."

In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

Overall, I don't think it was the airlines fault but the airports fault at LAX, however all of these thing combined made it a less enjoyable flight/experience."

And then when I finally do get checked in using the now kiosk only option for the plebeian class while anyone above economy gets to talk to real people (way to highlight the class divide guys) I missed my check in time by 5 minutes and was told by the kiosk to find an agent. Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes. I made my flight but just by a hair. If the agents would have been around to help or been willing to help me from the moment I spoke to them this would not have been a problem. Thanks for almost ruining Christmas for me. When I spoke to others everyone told me they always have issues with AA. Will never fly AA again."

We waited in line for over two hours for hotel vouchers that they did not have. We paid for own our room and returned at 11am as instructed, but the plane needed a part that had to be shipped from the U.S. which pushed our scheduled departure from 2pm to at least 9pm. My family grabbed a bus to Narita for a 6:30pm flight. C'MON AMERICAN AIRLINES! COULD YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GET ANOTHER PLANE TO HANEDA?? OR AT LEAST PAY FOR OUR HOTEL?? The ground crew at Haneda was very kind but overwhelmed. Terrible experience. And it's the reason I don't fly American. In fact, KAYAK, I booked our flights on JAL intentionally to avoid American. The fact that these were partner flights on American completely and unpleasantly surprised me...also not a good experience."

Never in my life will I ever fly with united again. My plans got ruined, I was forced to sleep on the cold dirty floor of LAX. This cost me a lot of time and money, and I am upset about it. I will tell all my peers about this horrible experience and encourage them to never fly with united ever again. I do expect some sort of compensation over this horrible experience."

All of the passengers were immediately switched to a different airplane. The safety of the airline and the pocedures used to ensure the craft was 100% was very comforting."

During the entire 4 hour flight, passengers were offered a bag of chips and nothing else, not even for purchase. Thus particular plane didn't have any screen for entertainment. I was most bothered by the baggage fee of $50 ($25 each way ) because the ticket price doesnt reflect an airline that charges for necessary things."

Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

My entertainment system was reset three times and it still didn't work properly - no sound and no ability to watch movies that were not child rated. Stewards have to learn to be quiet as some of us are trying to sleep on a 15 hour flight and aren't interested in their laughs and jokes as we are travelling business first because we have to go to work when we get there!!"

At no moment did the co pilot excused himself nor did he apologized for the the delay. We deserved at least a free meal or some kind of compensation. Instead, the pilot and flight attendants just told us to rich it because we had to leave to L.A! We (8) family members came and this includes an elderly person (my mother who has been fighting cancer for about 2 years, along with diabetes) came to see her grandaughter get married. Now they were rushing her as well? Uncalled for. Now my other brother and his family which was a party of 10 on another flight, also flew to Hawaii. Now that alone tells you how much money was spent. The stay in Hawaii was amazing! We would visit again but the way we were treated on this airline, I don't think we would fly again and choose this airline. To be honest, not even recommend it. I'm ashamed to let others know such as friends and co workers know of this airline's service. To top it off one flight attendant was very rude! She saw us when she handed the other passengers pretzels and skipped my mother, my sister and I. I asked her nicely if we may have some and told her she had skipped us. She said, "I did?" Came back with 6 bags of thenm and was like, "Here!" Like shoving them to me. I felt humiliated! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass her. But it was extremely rude!!! I read some reviews and I guess it's normal on your end to be the way you treat your customers. We even asked before abording from Hawaii to L.A, what can you do to make up for all this and we were told, "nothing could". So ashamed."

優點: "The seats were mostly comfortable (although extremely cramped), pillows and blankets were provided. I liked the one free thing offered; ability to follow the planes progress on my iPhone."
缺點: "All of the screens on the side of the cabin I sat in did not work so even if we chose to pay the ridiculous fees for content it wasn't an option. Charging $16 for internet is gouging to the extreme. Truthfully, I would choose to pay a little more for my ticket if I knew that United did not cram people in like sardines, provided good quality free internet, provided free video content (on consoles that worked), and provided a small snack (better than a little wafer)."

缺點: "When i came back to my country everything was ok until i got my credit details and i saw that your receptionist stole money from my card. I should have pay for an exstra suitcase 60 dollars so i gave the receptionist my credit card. Yesterday I got my credit details i saw an extra charge of 400 hundred dollars !!! I am so mad and im waiting for you to cancel it and recompense. I hope it will be soon before i involve a layer and require you. My phone number is +97224518838."
