Cabin foods are generous, filled with variety and tasting the best among various international airlines that I have experienced between LAX and Taipei, Taiwan in the past ten years. The seat belt on light and bell were kept at minimal, in contrast to other airlines like EVA, China Airlines, Korean Airlines and United Airlines."

They aren't great for sleeping in, but the flight was decently quiet and dark for some time. I would recommend bringing a pair of earplugs and a neck pillow."

When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system."

We were told that it was done and just call back on 3/7 to confirm flight. When we called back on 3/7, they said the flight was never rescheduled and could not find a voice recording of the request. Despite our offering of evidence of our other ticket from Osaka to TPE (3/3-3/8 round trip) showing that it was not a no-show, and we have phone records of calling JAL on 3/1. Nevertheless, their customer care center in CHINA was firm that it cannot be done. The money has been wasted. Ridiculous service for a 3,500 business class ticket."

However, Flight Network charged Canadian dollars, so my US bank charged me a 3% exchange fee and the Canadian bank charged me another $8 fee resulting in a combined $32 extra to the price.of my ticket. Flight Network was not honest about the currency of the transaction. Kayak should require that Flight Network and any other vendors be honest about the currency of the transaction. 2. The extra 5 hours of layover at Incheon Airport was a total drag. It caused me to miss my connecting flight from LAX to Mexico City, so by the time I got into Mexico City there were no more buses running to Queretaro. I had to book a room in Mexico City at an additional expense and pay for taxi fare that I would not have needed if Asiana Airlines hadn't added 5 extra hours of layover to my trip."

It was excellent so to say, however, on this last trip with my family, total of eight passengers including 2 kids - 6 of us travelled on the 18th of December came back on the 13th of January, 2 travelled on the 25th of Dec. came back on the 14th of Jan., we were disappointed that the service/s is not that great anymore."

On top of that, the plane was not properly cleaned as there were some trash in the pockets behind the chairs in front of you and you can tell that the floor were not properly cleaned as there were pieces of paper. I always pay particular attention to these things for the main reason that my family/relatives has been flying with Asiana and with deteriorating services I think the company should look into the above so customers will continue to fly with Asiana and keep them, if they value their customers."

What was most alarming was that we were in LA sitting at the boarding gate for 3.5 hours and not one announcement was ever made about rechecking boarding passes or documents. Additionally, I went through all of the information from UNITED and there was nothing in there either. The only information that was provide was to go to a different departure terminal in LA. This caused us incredible stress as I was traveling with my children and did not want to be seated in separate seats for a 13.5 hour flight. It took the gate attendant 40 minutes to get us re-booked and find us three seats together. During this time he failed to communicate or give us any reassurance. Considering I had reserved seats since September I was extremely disappointed with Asiana. As a result, it is doubtful I will ever fly with Asian ever again and will warn every traveler I know to avoid them. In my opinion they have the worst customer service!! I say this with great conviction as I travel internationally for my work to over 15 countries every year."

I wasted a total of 8 hours waiting to be put on another flight. They transferred us to the cheaper Cebu Pacific flight that left 5 hours later (at 10 pm!) than the PAL flight. Most horrible flying experience I've ever had in my entire life and I've been flying internationally for almost 20 years. Their customer service is terrible, not transparent and not helpful. They took longer than necessary to rebook people to other flights. Completely horrible. I have another flight booked with PAL that I can no longer cancel, but after that one, never flying them again!"

They need to have better boarding pass scanners and /or the employees should pay better attention to that main detail. Air was really dry in the cabin, suggestion is to add some kind of humidifier in the plane to decrease dryness to the nose."

Maybe a price adjustment is in order rather than letting those seats sit empty? Overall, the flight was a pleasant experience. The seat situation was just a blemish on the trip. It must be a plane bought from another airline who completed their 30 year lease of the aircraft, because it looked like from the 1980's or older. Falling apart, uncomfortable, toilets not working, dirty, run down. The air-crew were lazy and rude and were inconsistent. One would say they ran out of something, then the person next to me would ask another crew, and received what they requested (food, assistance, pens, etc). Horrible. The pilots rarely informed us of the flight updates. Just utterly horrible! I cannot believe I have to fly with them on my return leg back home :("

Makes no sense. This flight (PR 102 MNL-LAX) was also terrible due to the fact that it was delayed more than 1hr 45 mins. I know several passengers that missed connecting flights upon arrival to LAX. When we finally landed at 8:51 pm (orig 7 pm), we were held on the plane and finally able to deplane at 9:30 PM. During the time waiting, the power (air, lights, etc) were turned off so we were essentially sitting/standing in darkness for approximately 30 mins. Then baggage wasn't unloaded until almost 10:45 pm. All the passengers were standing around waiting for their luggage for an extremely long time."
