優點: "From the April 12 Sydney to Seoul flight, the landing at Seoul was so smooth, so professionally done I hardly knew we had touched ground. That Captain has much to teach all pilots wanting a higher standard to their skills and the recognition of these standards. That caption is worth his/her weight in gold, giving Koran Air a gold standard. To compare, the landing at Osaka April 12, late at night, was done by an apprentice who has much to learn from your gold star captain.."
缺點: "The same Sydney to Seoul flight, crossed the Qld Great Barrier Reef around 11am April 12. Having a window seat, so much detail of the Reef was visible which greatly surprised me. Beautiful colours galore. Having my face glued to the window at this time, I was unaware of cabin happenings. A male steward tapped me on the shoulder and said "Close your window blind". The beautiful scene outside my window was a first and being 76 old, likely not to happen again for me. Naturally, I ask the male steward "Why", He repeated 4 more times, "Close your window blind". Each time my reply was the same, "Why". On his last request, his voice raised, so in turn, my reply was raised. Sadly, he walked away silently, hands waving in disgust. Only then did I realise the cabin was completely black, no light seen. If at 11am, traditionally, this is a custom, a service to passengers on that particular flight, the male steward didn't say. He clearly expected to be obeyed and didn't expect a challenge. But also felt I didn't deserve a reason for his, what clearly was a demand. Would he have treated a male passenger differently. I flew economy because that is what my budget demands. Flying is not common for me but certainly a thrill that demands a window seat. I give much praise to all other staff, especially the captain landing that very craft at Seoul. At my age, years of experience allows me to be aware and notice. A beautifully presented mature female stewardess in economy, served me. When I requested a beer with the main meal, she said I will give you my favourite. I knew this was double talk for having only one brand beer left, that was a weak American beer. I watched this lovely lady many times being distracted by other staff with questions and 2 other passengers near me, asking for changes. She never blew it. And she passed me in the Sydney terminal, end of the day for her and believe it or not, she remembered me. She was not in such a hurry to get to her destination, that she gave time by turning her body, giving me a wide smile with eyes saying, Yes, I served you. You see, she's never off the job of customer service. I learned much, flying with Korean Air. Many thanks, Sally"

優點: "I have flown many times with many airlines, and I must say that Korean Air is by far THE BEST. From staff to food to entertainment. They crew will go out of there way to do what they can to ensure you have a comfortable and good experience. I will DEFINITELY fly with them again. Kayak was very user friendly also."

缺點: "As I was about to board, I was denied carrying on my backpack with the few items I would need for the flight, so I was forced to put them into my carry-on suitcase which was loaded elsewhere, out of reach.. The insanity of it all - so glad the woman can count to two - is that I was forced by this angry person to carry my laptop and tablet onto the airplane in my hand, as she absolutely would not allow me to put them into my empty backpack, claiming this would constitute a third item. Of course, no one else was forced to take their computers out of their protective cases, only myself, because it was a backpack. I am 66 years old, travelling alone, and frankly am not the only international traveler who experiences unbelievable rudeness when in US airports."

優點: "I like that KE is lenient with the baggage allowance of 23kgs per piece that some can still go up to about 25kgs due to measurement system used (Metric vs. US). I also like that KE has bigger leg room even in the economy class."
缺點: "I don't like the fact that KE charges the 3rd baggage (excess baggage) US$200 for only up to 23kgs. Anything beyond that is additional $100 for only up to 32kgs. another $100 beyond 32kgs. I will state for a fact that Cathay Pacific only charges US$150 for the 3rd baggage and is already up to 32kgs. Perhaps this is something KE would like to look into. In spite of Cathay Pacific's excess baggage rates, they have a smaller leg room in the economy class."

優點: "My flight departure at 1835 on 19 January 2016,I have arrival at Korea Icheon airport 2 hour before departure. I was so surprise that they was a very long queue at the check in counter with all Korea air. The check in was so slow till have to Waite for about 1 and half hours.after getting my boarding pass and I have only 20 min to do my immigration and customer clearance. And 5 min run to the boarding gate. Korea air should let us know if the check in was so slow and advise us to arrival at the airport 3 hours before departure."

缺點: "Before I start my complaint I would like to say that my family and I had 6 emirates flights this year and 5 of those flights were very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our traveling with emirates but this 1 flight came out to be the worst flight of my life. I made online check-in and chose our seats and all was successful but when we reached the airport and I opened my app, it displayed that online boarding pass was not available. After moving slowly in a long queue, when I reached near boarding counters, an official checked my name in a list and informed that there was some new tax applied on us and thus I had to visit counter 5 or 6 to pay that tax. We joined the queue of counter 5 but it was not moving at all and I noticed some people being served at counter 5 who were not in the queue, thinking that counter 5 might take longer, I joined counter 6 queue where there were only 1 family and 1 passenger ahead of me, for next half hour we stood there but that queue didn't move. Finally after some time another counter called me, he confirmed that I had made online check-in. We were given boarding passes and were asked to wait for tax processing, After another 15min, we were given all papers and were requested to move to the immigration counter. After immigration when we were going through final security check, the emirates official asked me to hurry up, I showed him that the security process was going on in front of him, upon that he asked why I was late to airport, I informed him that I made online check-in and I was required to be there 90min before the flight but I was there 150min before the flight and it was in front of him how long the tax processing took, upon that he said that I should have been at the boarding counter 240min before the flight and that I should be aware of the facilities at the airport (although it was my 1st time there). I had not made any complaint on what had happened so far to anyone and I was not rude to anyone although I was with my wife and 1.5 years old son who was crying coz of warn weather and thirst, we couldn't provide him with water coz we were standing in queues all the time. But hearing such comments from Emirates official were quite unbearable but still I stayed calm and reached at the gate. When I handed over the boarding passes, I was told that my boarding pass was missing and I was quickly blamed by emirates officials that either I reached there without a boarding pass or I had lost it. When they checked in their system it showed that I was already boarded, I understood that they gave my boarding pass to someone else but they kept on saying that I had lost it and also informed the same to plane crew, then they made a manual boarding pass for me and let me pass the gate. We were the last passengers to enter the plane. When I reached at my seat, there was someone else sitting there, upon taking attendant's help, it was discovered that the passenger sitting there had my boarding pass."

優點: "Quantas Operated by Emirates is definitely not Emitrates standard."

缺點: "I specifically booked my flight with emirates as I prefer their service,food,staff,seating and entertainment and was instead told once I arrived at Auckland airport that we were instead flying with qantas . Not impressed that we received no email or contact to inform us of this beforehand . The service itself from qantas was not bad but again some sort of notice would have been nice ."

優點: "The food was good for economy"
缺點: "My seat was about 70% of the size of a normal one. It gave me back pain and shoulder pain as the wall encroaches into the seat space. Do not under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take the window emergency exit seats. They charge you extra but don’t warn you that they are tiny. I am of relatively normal (althletic) build not overweight or unusually tall etc. They initially told me there were no other free seats so I ended up sat on the floor. Turns out there were free seats. They lied."

優點: "A380 is a great airplane. More specs for legs. Comfortable seats. Good choice of movies (different languages). Great crew"
缺點: "Meal was good but I had more from Emirates. It was night flight and light worked within the flight."

缺點: "The bus ride took over 10 mins. Why are flights to South Asia and other developing countries not given boarding via the bridge? Horribly long bus ride at DXB for flight to DEL."

優點: "The time to board and arrival was on time"
缺點: "They didn't have mango juice"

缺點: "Delay in the take off and the plane was old .. No control from the crew on passengers behaviour which was disappointing.though the flight from colombo to dubai was excellent"

優點: "Service is generally ok. Polite and ontime flight (infact ahead of schedule."
缺點: "The entertainment system is getting old and buggy. I have sat on United's international flights now and their systems is som much simpler but fast and responsive. They should try and change it to United's."

優點: "Good flight and easy transfer."

優點: "I loved the bigger screens and the fact that I could watch movies from the monument I boarded and did not have to wait until take off! I also loved the use of real cutlery in economy. The flight was fantastic. The toilets in economy are spacious too."

缺點: "Food options for AVML or VML pretty sad for options , taste and service too. even after ordering AVML all across the cabin crew was going thru major issues with finding the food for me for AVML food got served after they served everyone on the flight. lot of effort made by the crew but cant blame them for it. Indian food / Vegetarian meal / Asian vegetarian Meal options are varied and can be filtered to basic but classic food options that can make not just me but there are lot of people like me have a good experience with food. even the fruit platter ordered was not appealing."

優點: "In flight staff were great, very industrious, and very friendly. In-flight entertainment was the best I have come across on an economy seat."
缺點: "My check-in experience was concerning. I had an onward flight to Manila, but no onward flight from there. The airline policy had me not allowed to check in for my flight because of this. I narrowly avoided missing my flight by booking another flight just in time."

缺點: "The food was disgusting, I chose to have gluten free, the breakfast was the worse food I have ever eaten, the eggs were like rubber to eat, the fish was the same and the chips were grey and soggy with saturated stale oil, the bread roll was stale, as a result I didn't eat the breakfast and the main meal wasn't much better, I feel if the food was much more simple , fresh , and the fruit ripe instead of green , the meal would have been more appealing ."

優點: "This is the 4th times I use Emirates and they maintain their standards. The entertainment is very good, a lot of new movies and tv shows, in many languages. The quality of the plane is still amazing, I love Airbus even in economy class and I am 6'2 tall. So enough space for my legs, the plane seemed to be pretty new. Love it. No problem during the boarding. Staff very efficient at that time The same during the flight. they were there to provide us a high standards services. Thank you Emirates."

缺點: "No Emirate staff presented to due with the 20+ hours delay. Just sent their representatives who are not powerful to make decisions and at the end we have many questions not answered. Eg. Any earlier reconnect flights? Any alternative airlines? What is the checkout time of the compensation hotel? Any meal compensation if not staying at their hotel? Etc."

優點: "The A380 is a beautiful aircraft. Smooth and quiet. Great movie choices. Crew friendly and mostly efficient. Great value for money!"

優點: "See my previous post about the beds being a little too narrow in business class, well no such complaint in first class. The suites are well appointed and comfortable. It is just such a shame that this was an overnight 6 hr flight and I had already eaten on the previous sector. So I did not sample the first class al a carte experience, but due to time zone changes couldn't sleep either. I also got to see but not experience the shower cubicles which look very comfortable. The crew gave their normal professional but friendly service."

缺點: "For a 7 + hour flight the food offering could be better in economy. We were offered lunch which was fine and then later on a tuib of ice cream. To be honest when arriving in Dubai and it can take some time to get to where you need to go at midnight could do with more than ice cream for the later light bite. We have done this route several times and always found the same so particularly with kids now make sure we are well prepared."

缺點: "the flight from Cairo to Egypt was extremely bad . I understand that the relationship between both countries is not at its best. However, this is not an excuse for racist and bigoted behavior from You staff , the plane was 2 hours late, the staff was literally yelling at the passengers because they were standing at the gate assigned to the ticket. And your plane crew was extremely rude, this one flight attendant frowned at my wife's face and starting sanitizing her hand after my wife gave her ticket."

缺點: "NO ONE IN TURKISH AIRLINES WILL HELP YOU AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR HELP IT BECOMES AN INCONVENIENCE FOR THEM. HERE'S THE STORY, MY FLIGHT WAS 2 HOURS LATE SO WHEN WE LANDED TO CATCH OUR TRANSIT FLIGHT IT WAS ALREADY GONE. SO WHEN WE ARRIVE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A HOTEL OR FOOD THEY HAND US THIS PAPER AND TOLD US TO GO TO THE HOTEL THAT IS IN THE AIRPORT IT WOULD BE FOR FREE ALONG WITH THE FOOD. WHEN WE GET THERE THEY TOLD US NO, IT IS ONLY FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS AND WHEN WE EXPLAIN THAT PASSPORT CONTROL SENT US HERE WITH THIS PAPER THEY RESPONDED NO, WE NEED A HOTEL VOUCHER AND WE NEED TO GO BACK. WHEN WE ASK HER TO CALL PASSPORT CONTROL (BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SENT US TO THEM) TO SPEAK TO THEM YOURSELF, SHE SAYS "IT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHICH THEN MADE ME SNAP AT HER AND TELL HER WTF DO YOU MEAN ITS NOT YOUR PROBLEM? THEN WE GO BACK TO PASSPORT CONTROL WHO TOLD US THAT WE WOULD HAVE A FREE HOTEL AND FOOD THEY CHANGED THERE STORY AND DIRECTED US TO PAY FOR A VISA AND PAY FOR A HOTEL OUTSIDE. SO IN THE END THEY GAVE US A BULLSHIT STORY SO THEY CAN GET RID OF US AND HAVE US RUN AROUND WHERE IN THE END WE GAVE UP AND SLEPT IN THE AIRPORT TILL WE GOT HOME. THIS IS WHEN I WAS COMING BACK WITH TURKISH AIRLINES. GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION THE FLIGHT WAS LATE 4 HOURS AND LUCKILY FOR US WE HAD A LONG LAYOVER THAT WE DIDNT MISS MY FLIGHT GOING TO MY PLACE OF DESTINATION. SO GOING AND RETURNING FLIGHT WAS LATE! WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD!! I WOULD NEVER FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES! AND WHILE I WAS THERE FINALLY GETTING READY TO GO HOME A MAN SAT BEHIND ME AND ASKED ME IF I WAS GOING ON THE SAME FLIGHT AS HIM AND I TOLD HIM NO WHICH THEN HE STRIKES UP THE CONVERSATION AS TO HOW TURKISH AIRLINES MADE HIM MISS HIS FIGHT AND GAVE HIM HELL! SO I WAS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM! IN THE END HE SAID TO ME TURKISH AIRLINES IS GARBAGE! AND I DONT BLAME HIM!! STAFF WAS THE WORST THING TO DEAL WITH AT TURKISH AIRLINES!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

Staff totally unprepared and untrained for such situations. We waited around for 6 hours before finding out on our own, that the flight was cancelled. The notice was not shown on the board. In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."

Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as, if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

The rescheduling of the new flights were "all lies" From Naples to Munich was ok, but the flight from Munich to Dubai was not confirmed (even though I had a printed ticket). Emirate airlines refused to take us and I was stuck in Munich all night, waiting for new reschedule. Horrible experience. I will avoid Turkish airlines in any of my future flights."

This caused massive confusion and I ended up running around the airport to get to my gate. Also there should not have been a second flight listed on the boards because there was no second flight. Very frustrating..."
