缺點: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

優點: "Flying with JAL blew my mind. From checking in at the counter to leaving the aircraft at our destination, the customer service was the best I've ever experienced flying. They were friendly and quick in the check in process, the line moved in a timely matter. One of the best perks that I really enjoyed was the free check in luggage and free movies while flying. Not to mention the yummy food they provide. The Flight Attendants were so sweet and made you feel welcomed. I slept about the entire flight and when I awoke the Flight Attendant stopped by and let me know I missed the meal service, but they saved my tray if I would like to eat it before we land."

There was lots of leg room unlike most airlines and the aisles were wide enough for us to walk the kids around. And the staff was beyond amazing! Thanks for a great international travel experience with kids!"

Flew into ITM and flew out KIX and boarding ticket it says only OSAKA so I didnt know. I barely made the flight....if they had accommodate the transportation I would understand. But they tell you, you have to make it there on your own. Another CRAZY information is that I thought at the very least the baggage will be transferred. But nope! You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. You take a great airline and make the experience so bad."

優點: "Boeing 777 had an upgrade on the video display software, making for a more manageable video experience. It's easier to navigate because of the ability to close screens and go back to the screen you were on, rather than having to start over each time."

It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

I am all in favor of giving business and first preference in getting off the plane, but this was just too much, waiting for the slowest person in business to get off before a single person could leave the coach cabin."

優點: "I've taken other long-haul flights where it seems the flight attendants were serving food or drinks every couple of hours, leaving little time to sleep peacefully. But the Cathay staff, I think, balanced it well. Over 15 hrs, I was only woken up 2-3x for food. Was nice to be able to sleep without being disturbed too much."

缺點: "The main reason for my poor rating of this flight was because when we booked these flights, they were listed as having WiFi available on the flights. The two longer flights are 14+ hours each and happen during the workday for us. This is a total of 28 hours (times 3 people) that we were not able to have in-flight WiFi. Almost all of our work is done online and thus, we could do zero work whatsoever during this flight. We basically lost the equivalent of two whole workweeks because of this oversight about the WiFi, which is very, very upsetting and cost us a ton of money. One of us ended up having to book a separate flight home in order to not lose WiFi for the entire way back, which added another $900+ to our travel costs. Additionally, the crew was fairly unfriendly when we asked about this and seemed to not care at all about why we were upset. We understand that the in-flight crew cannot install Wi-Fi on the plane in the middle of the flight, but some understanding and apologetic behavior goes a long way with an upset customer. Additionally, they were rude whenever we called for service and asked them for anything, always seeming to be so bothered to leave their discussions in the back of the plane. Finally, I've flown many flights across the world and I have to be honest that this was the least comfortable and nice plane I've been on for such a long flight. You think upgraded planes with WiFi would be used for these extremely long flights. We're all very upset about our experience on this flight and would really like to be contacted about this flight and spoken with. We would like for something to be done for us to make up for this HUGE oversight and bad experience. We don't want to have to call the bank and try to get our charges reversed for the flights, but we definitely feel that we were sold something that was not what we experienced. 優點: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Our row mate (aisle) had a broken seat that she paid extra $$ for & she asked to be seated elsewhere. Attendant said there are no more seats. There was at least one seat in first-class; we could see it. She also asked for more pretzels......2 1/2 hours into the flight...the attendant said I gave them out already. One pack of pretzels? I wasn't offered any pretzels at all. And the movie choices....what?!?!?!?! I can't even begin to describe the disappointment that your "selection" of movies caused. This isn't a hop to Hawaii. It's long haul. Oh. And my feelings are still a little hurt I at being subjected to the SMELL of baking chocolate chip cookies that were being served in 1st class. Really? Superman vs Batman, Captain America, Barbershop II, Jungle Book, etc., AND having to smell cookies I can't have? It's just too much to take in on a 5 hour flight."

缺點: "The plane hit the brakes while taking off and returned to the gate due to a warning light. We were told nothing other than we needed to wait. They said the fix took 5 minutes but our wait took 2 hours. Not efficient. They rent out tablets for on plane entertainment, unlike every other plane I've ever flown, they make you pay to keep you happy during a 5.5 hour flight. Food was horrible. The seat did not recline and they eradicate every ounce of comfort to overpack the plane. The Captian made little announcements and the one he did make upon decent, started with "please fasten your seat belts, we are 65 miles away from Honolulu but...", I was sure the "light" came back on 30k feet about the pacific and we were going down. Finally - the last announcement from the head stewardess didn't include "Aloah, thank you for flying United". Seems minor but it goes to show they don't care anymore. That's the first time I hadn't heard the welcomed message after my 20th trip to the Islands. After my return flight I vow to never fly United again."

缺點: "4 hr delayed departure. fine... better safe than sorry when there's a mechanical problem. BUT-- there was no compensation.. no free drinks, no free food worse: the flight left after lunch but there was only breakfast food (since it had been a morning flight). and THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD FOR SALE. despite the 4 hour delay. we were starving. then... we FINALLY arrive... and wait another full HOUR for the gate to be opened. because it had "timed out" (because we were so late?) and apparently, they have to call someone in from who knows where to unlock the gate... it took an hour! we basically lost a full day of our Hawaiian vacation"

缺點: "My husband, myself and 11 year old son were seated separately. We requested seats together. I was told by the desk staff that there were younger children also seated away from their parents. Once in board, I observed several families with adults seated together and children older than 11 seated together. Priority should have been given to younger children to sit with at least one parent. I was uncomfortable with my minor aged child was seated with strangers for a 5 hour flight. In flight online entertainment didn't work initially."

缺點: "Very rude lady working at United desk at LAX. I am a veteran and I have very bad anxiety and PTSD and my wife (who is active duty) were split up for the flight so we had asked to be seated next to one another since we had picked our seats online prior to flying. The lady was very rude rolling her eyes saying that there was nothing she could do for us besides us asking people to possibly switch seats even though my spouse had the United app open and showed two seats to upgrade too and she didn't even ask if we wanted to upgrade to be next to each other. At this point I had to take my anxiety medication and as we were taking off one of the flight attendants said we could ask about upgrading but yet the lady at the desk said nothing."

The entertainment console was damaged to the point it wouldn't even fit back together and none of the headphone jacks were operational on an 8 hour flight. We were also understandably delayed by a medical emergency onboard but United saw fit to further inconvenience the entire plane of passengers by searching the cargo hold for the the deplaned passengers luggage long after they were gone, rather than send it back on the next return flight. The crew said the decision came from corporate and clearly thought it was as ridiculous as we did. Given that United was valuing this seat at well over $2k, I think it's reasonable to expect the amenities to be in good repair."

I did not like the fact that I had to ask about that when that offer should had been automatic. In the past, when flying and a delay happens, other airlines like Hawaiian and Delta have waved their entertainment fees. The baggage claim took over 45 minutes to release the flights luggage."

缺點: "Horrible ground crew service. I was assigned to seat 33B, when boarding the computer printed out a new boarding pass with new seat 30B for me without any kind of notices in advance. I wasn't traveling alone, of course we would like to sit next to each other. When got on the plane, the new seat I got 30B was already taken by another older lady which her boarding pass has exact same seat as mine "30B". I had to walk to the very front of the plane to talk to someone and he was no help because he said "I had to wait for the agent to talk to me". I stood there by the door for 20 minutes or so, telling him my seat got change and there's someone sitting there and I would prefer to go back to the seat o was originated to the first time as it was exit row seat. The ground crew said I can't and I need to sit at 30B which there's another person sitting. He left, came back 10 minutes later saying the same thing. How am I supposed to sit on 30B when there's someone with exact same boarding pass, same seat sitting. He said "no one is sitting there. She moved. You need to go sit at that seat", I walked there and nope, she's still there. I wasn't gonna waste my time arguing because obviously United ground crew member were no help and rude. I went back to seat 33 where I was supposed to sit and of course it was empty. They kept telling me it was a FULL flight with no open seat but that wasn't true at all. Seat 33 was open so the seat 2 seats away from me on the same row. No wonder why asian airlines have better rating in services compare to American. Your crew members are rude and just not smiley. Not even an apologize was once said to me when I had to deal with YOUR mistake United airline."

缺點: "It's was a 9 hour flight and the only snacks that were offered were the ones you had to pay for. I had a headache getting off the plane because I almost starved the entire ride. The staff was helpful but dead no character to them or atleast they didn't show it. Also as long as this flight was my screen froze for the last 5 hours but I didn't miss anything because I couldnt listen to the TV from the start. The female end where u put the headphone plug had something jammed in it so I watched watever my neighbor was watching and clued together what they were saying in the movie. Needless to say I was bored out of my mind and my stomach was not very happy with me. Hopefully my flight in 9 days is a lot better."

優點: "Boarding went smooth and quick. Pilot kept informing us on the conditions and staff was very friendly. The seats in economy were decent and I enjoyed having the head rest fold in on the sides since I forgot my neck pillow."
