comfortable & short lay over
I believe the Japan airline was very prejudice against me and some other Mexican passengers they let other Japanese people board but not us. I had my 48 hour test but they turned us away and I paid over $1,600 for that ticket and I got turned away in Los Angeles. I haven’t had a chance to complain. I made it to the Philippines a month later. But I really hate Japan and Japan airlines. I will never think about using them again. And I tell all my friends the story Unthinkable all that money and all you can say is we’re sorry Clinton Dow
Excellent except for food
JAL is one of the most professional & efficient airlines I’ve experienced. The food was very good: even in Economy! The entertainment interface needs some updating.
The seat cushion was worn out. It was very uncomfortable. The service was very good.
You did a great job JAPAN AIRLINES. Looking forward to experience again your utmost service in air!
Super, long line at check-in. Once they opened up the first class window for everybody, things moved somewhat faster. Flight was still delayed by one hour. Flight itself was smooth. Food was good for the first meal and mediocre for the second. JAL flight attendants could speak better English.
優點： "The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive."

優點： "JAL lounge at Haneda was the best I've ever been in. The Business Class configuration is terrific -- as private as can be on an airplane, without going First. And the JAL staff, on the ground as well as in the air, are Grade A diplomats, counselors, and -- in a word -- professionals. Which is sorely lacking in US air carriers, who don't seem to understand that air travel is a service industry, and to excel in a service industry, PEOPLE are most important to the customers. Specifically, having enough people: US airline employees are well-trained professionals too, but "corporate" consistently under-hires/deploys, which leaves employees juggling far too much at once, which degrades the service experience for the customer. Yeah, I get "the bottom line," but service industry customers will always go to businesses that offer better service. Ok, rant over. JAL is tops."

But they tell you, you have to make it there on your own. Another CRAZY information is that I thought at the very least the baggage will be transferred. But nope! You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. You take a great airline and make the experience so bad."

I was not issued a ticket by WestJet which made me almost miss my entire flight. Luckily I called Korean air on time and they made a booking arrangement for me to get into Vancouver the last minute with AirCanada.

優點： "I am giving my flight from Seoul to Bangkok 5 stars because the crew were just lovely. They were kind, attentive and ( shock) seemed to want to be on the flight. Too often nowadays it seems as if we( the paying customer) are nothing but a huge annoyance to the flight crew for daring to sk for a blanket, need a drink or to have to use the facilities. We had a screaming child in the row ahead most of the flight and one of the flightees went so far as to walk the toddler in her arms around the plane to help smooth her. The food reminded me of airlines meals years ago with a served roll and butter, main course ( beef with potatoes and veggies) , a tofu and soy sauce side and ice cream for dessert- no plastic silver wear here, proper solid stainless. Lots of juice and water on offer all flight and beer, wine etc with meal. American carriers should take a leaf out of this airline's book!"

I especially enjoyed their in flight exercises before landing, it really felt great to get some proper circulation after sitting for a few hours."

My flight from Seoul to Los Angeles was on a Boeing which felt a bit older; entertainment screen was smaller and had a strange viewing angle (you have to adjust the tile until you get a clear view). While not really bad, I could've paid more attention to see if they inform which type of planes are being used during booking."

The guy helped me on checking in told me that AsIan’s didn’t provide this service to the customer. I felt not quite happy but ok with this. The one made me feel upset is they didn’t give me pre-boarding even though they already noticed that I’m disabled. I needed to wait on the line for over 25 minutes, my left leg very tired. I can walk but I can’t stand for long time, it hurts my back and leg. I got almost same style Vegetarian food in both dinner and breakfast, all vegetables, no tofu at all."

Upstair in the same area with the pricey and exclusive lounges for elite travelers, there was a "Nap Space" or "Nap Place: a large suite of rooms with maybe sixty comfortable couches to catch up on missing sleep... with no sign-up required and no supervisory staff. And totally free of charge! Every airport should consider having such a welcomed service. Also at INC, bona-fide transit passengers with a outbound boarding pass can take a free shower (soap and towels provided as well?). Wow. These amenities surely make INC one of the least loathsome airports in Asia at which a day-long layover may be spent."

缺點： "But when I did my check in it took so long because neither of the asiana staff knew the condition or policy of my quantas itinerary. I don't know if it was the system but they should have managed better the situation. At last they took care of it but lost so much time. Besides everyone got nervous and I felt a little uncomfortable."
缺點： "Both takeoff and landing were delayed by an hour or so, I had to rearrange pickup and pay for late check in and barely made it to my business meeting. The entertainment units are outdated. Screen was so small , I couldn't read the movie titles. Selections were limited."
優點： "they to change the movie selection going to and from food was just okay Service was excellent No problems experienced"
優點： "Delayed flight for almost two hours while all passengers were already inside the plane( korea to manila) . So hot inside the plane, no air condition, no food, no comfort measures given to passengers. They should have not let passengers to board knowing that there is mechanical problem. It would have been more comfortable if passenger just waited at the airport gate."
優點： "Clean bathroom, well maintain during flight unlike some airlines 5 stars for that"
缺點： "Chicken was grilled marked than steam result tuff rubbery. Hostess refused to exchange it with beef saying thete eas no more on the spot, not even asking others waitresses from different raw, while later on when everyone wad sleeping I went to asked for water and there you go. She ead eating the beef from economic class and a dish from first class. I always thought that customers are valuable because we pay their salaries?! Very desapointed from this hotess from the Philli. Who during the who flight treat me like dirt, maybe she hates Americain? Also most of movies are children oriented only a few for mature minds and they are over a year old. First time on Asiana and last time even been a star alliance member what a disappointment!"

缺點： "Delay 50 minutes waiting for connection flight 2 nd time (50%) on this trip, appears that this airline is getting bigger and disregarding schedules for $$$. Also advanced on line seating is meaningless. Internet web-sight is always a problem finding the correct pages if you have a problem no local contact listings (tel. #) in major cities they have offices in. I had a Tel. # for office in BKK, used in the past , they changed the # without even leaving a message or new #. I needed to change my departure date & because I could not contact them thru web sdite or Tel. this was not possible & missed a very important meeting in N.Y."

缺點： "I don't have the exact flight times but flight from Seattle to Korea was suppose to arrive in Korea at around 18:00 and leave for Ho Chi Ming at 19:00. It arrived after 18:00, boarding was suppose to be at 18:40 but by the time I was able to get on the rail to the main station it was 18:40. Luckly a crew member had a sign and was calling out "HCMC". Luckily I am in good shape because we ran through the airport to the next connection as they were getting ready to close the plane doors. Need to have someone walk and time, the time of arrival from Seattle into Korea, onto the rail, to the main station and distance to gate 40. You may very well miss your flight."

缺點： "My wife and I are both Asiana Gold Club members. When we recently tried to board a plane in Inchon, Korea for a return flight to San Francisco we were told that we could not board though the gate labeled "Elite/Gold Club members" but had to stand in the long line of Economy class customers. When I asked "Why", I was told it was for Star Alliance Gold Club members, not Asiana Gold Club members. There was no indication on the sign there was a difference. Don't get me wrong, I'm not so disturbed about standing in the long line. I was upset because of the implied difference in the Star Alliance Gold Club benefits vs. Asiana Gold Club benefits and, as far as I am aware, the unpublished differences so when we as customers are at the airport trying to operate within the system, we know what to do. Please confirm there is a difference and what those differences are. Jerry"

優點： "The food and service is good if you speak Korean, the flight attendant did not pay me much attention and the nice man next to me had to get my drinks for me."
缺點： "I flew four flights (layovers each way) and every single flight was delayed."
之前由於疫情的關係，打算不在飛行中用餐，但是到了機場，發現其實情況沒有想像中嚴重，所以現場請check in 服務台的服務員幫忙訂奶蛋素餐，但是我也明白時間太趕，可能沒辦法。所以心想：有就感恩，沒有也能夠理解。 結果，飛機上某位空服員自願把自己的餐點給我吃，讓我既不好意思，但是也非常感動。 感謝他們的貼心和用心。
優點： "The food was great and so was the service."
缺點： "The ride was a bit bumpy at times. I wish there is a foot rest in front for Economy class, just like Singapore Airline ."

The boarding was tedious and slow. Airline officials did not board according to zone numbers printed on the boarding pass."

缺點： "Bus boarding... understandable due to the short-haul nature of the flight- but there was no lack of gates available."
優點： "They used a more modern plane for the longer haul part of our two flights home from Bali and appreciated the slightly bigger seats for the longer flight. Good inflight entertainment options."

缺點： "I had preselected a window seat, but somehow I was “bumped” out of this preselected window seat to a middle seat. I informed this detail to the Air China rep at check in but she would not listen nor care about it. I tried explaining several times, but basically got nowhere. Thanks for listening"

優點： "The staff was nice and very accommodating. The food was good. I was very comfortable the whole time. My ears were fine."

優點： "I've never experienced anything than superb customer service from China Airlines. When feasible, I always opt to go with them, even if Kayak suggests a cheaper flight. I was cutting it close with a flight, and their staff walked me through security, baggage, and straight up to the gate (TPE to Okinawa). Highly recommended."

缺點： "We were delayed an hour on the tarmac in Taipei with no explanation. I was told there were no aisle seats and when we finished boarding I could see that the attendant on the ground had not been truthful. I did get a bulkhead aisle seat after the doors were closed, but I would like to know the truth from service people."
優點： "China Airlines has generally been a step above the average. The name is a bit represented as this is really a Taiwan Run and based airline that has been influenced by the western business practice."
